What is the maximum fan speed for usb version fan that you installed for gpu.

i really dont know. i cant remember why he didnt used stock fan. maybe voltage issue.  i wasnt concerned about speed as it was for the GPU.

Hi everyone, do you know how to use the CH341A flash programmer for GPU?

My AMD FirePro M5100 is GPU bricked.

hi... i have used it to unbrick my bios...

am not an wwxpert but maybe i could help.

DO NOT USE FAST START UP on bios settings doing so after installing win 10 i bricked 2 motherboards.. ever since i no longer activated fast start up no more bricks have clean installed windows more than 20 times.

after usb copied all files and it asks to reboot mine got stuck at the dell logo the blue loading bar would not complete. making your motherboard brick and need to flash bios chip.

I have fixed the problem for bricking AMD FirePro M5100, and it works.

have nvidia quadro 2000m  official driver v377.

am trying to get the latest driver version now am on 390.65

but i have seen 392 and 391 drivers. wich i have tried to install but i encounter some problems

using nvcleanstall i add hardware id to it. installs fine device manager sees it. but when i try to open nvidia control panel i get error

you are not currently using a display attached to an Nvidia GPU

That would be a normal thing to see if you have graphics switching / Optimus turned on.  The display is attached to the Intel GPU in that case and there won't be very many options in NVIDIA control panel.

i7-2960XM can be used, but overclocking, I'm not sure

some said it can be overclocked he had a 2920xm though.

Dont bother with 2960xm, too hot at stock and no, no overclocking.

Look for an i7 2860qm, arguably the best chip for the platform.

my keyboard  broke so i need a replacement.  ive seen  one  laptop with 2920xm  and was wondering if i was worth getting one.. last night i started monitoring temps and normal usage hits early 80C. i came to conclusion that maybe due to heat you would not be able to gain much performance.. i have never had a overclockable cpu. so am not sure what 100nhz could raise temps to.

right thats why i asked because i see 2860qm  cheaper

i asked here

It will work but you will quickly realize that it is a furnace, the 2860qm is the same chip at stock just 10w less and noticeably cooler however overclocking that is limited to just tinkering with the turbo. I don't remember what the vrm limits are but pretty sure its the same as the M6600 just with a lot less cooling.

Hey guys, my friend has m4600 and his M5950 AMD card started having problems. I had nvidia m1000m lying around, so I offered to use it instead. However once we install it upon booting the laptop we get: "intel management & security application error 207 - aborting." Do we need to change some bios setting or does Dell have a whitelist of GPUs and we cannot upgrade outside of the 3 GPUs it came with from the factory? Thank you!
