Bios Area 51m R2

Recommended Posts

Hi, what is the best BIOS that doesn't restrict performance? I know that for Area 51m recommends version 1.5.0, but I can't find any updated page on R2.
I bought the laptop with v.1.28.0 (ME Firmware 2433.6.3.0) and downgraded to 1.10.0 (ME Firmware 2110.15.0.2210, A02), but I don't know if it was necessary.
I would appreciate some info to see which version gives the best performance.
Regards

Whats the specs of you machine ? I would be aprehensive updating the bios too much either upgrade or dowgrade. What i was taught is if it works dont mess with it unless you are having issues

I'm currently reading the 396 posts on notebookreview "A user upgraded to v1.12.0 without performance issues". The problem is that they are old posts, from 2022, which is appreciated because you get a lot of information, but it's quite outdated
