ShifflyTheSHO
So the MXM RTX 3080 16GB has a Device ID of 24DC.7509.1558 instead of the one more commonly listed here and the number doesn’t appear in NVcleaninstall. Does anybody have any idea how to get this thing to run CUDA? I can run SRB2Kart at a smooth 120 fps at 2880x2160 or 2160x1620 perfectly fine, but as soon as it comes to running 3D Engine worth some effort, computer just locks up and and never even start processing the graphics. Computer is a P750DM3 with RTX BIOS flashed and running a 9900KF. I used a driver package that was 24DC.xxxx.1558 (can’t remember) and added the line to the second field, but Time Spy keeps right on crashing the laptop at start. Where am I going wrong? ShifflyTheSHO
Oh, Heaven Benchmark works perfectly fine. Maybe 3D Mark or whatever is called corrupted Nope. Computer just locked when I Alt-F4’d.
Khenglish
The 1558 is the clevo subsystem ID. The first 8 digits are the card ID and are as expected. I'm more concerned about the 9900KF mod causing lockups than the 3080. Have you tried a 6000 or 7000 series CPU with the card? If you don't have one to try, try underclocking the CPU to say 4.5GHz.
