Out of all the BIOS versions I tested, BIOS 1.7.3 delivered the best memory frequency and timing results.

Using very ordinary Samsung DDR4-2666 memory modules, I was able to overclock them to 2933 MHz with timings of CL17

I have 3200Mhz 128GB Samsung DDR4.

It's running at 2933Mhz now using default settings (only changed frequency in bios).

Is there any way to try 3200mhz? I don't care about timings right now, just want to try 3200mhz and see if it works.

By default the frequency is 2400. My RAM is 2666 MHz and it is stable up to 2933, which is why I didn’t push it higher. Send me a screenshot from the Memory tab in CPU-Z so I can check your RAM situation and guide you.

It is 3200mhz ram. SO right now it's running 2933mhz which is downclock. I want to try 3200mhz.

What exactly is your issue with the 5080? Maybe we can make some changes using RU.

From cold boot the 5080 has incorrect PCIe settings. As if the BIOS picks a "bad handshake". The only workaround found is to allow boot to Windows. Disable, unplug, replug the AGA inside of windows. Then stable connection is established. You can see all the screenshots and progress in the AGA thread.

What stinks is that if I leave the AGA plugged in overnight with the laptop on suspend or hibernate the system crashes. Comes up cold boot.
