Reliable sellers?

I must have been an unlucky one... I had major problems with Eurocom and refuse to buy from them again...

I ordered a 1070 for my new build P870, they delivered an Sli 1070. in November 2019, I sent it back as requested, at cost to myself.

By the end of January 2020, I had not heard anything from them, no mention of a replacement card, no refund. I eventually sent the email trail to my CC company who followed it up and awarded me a full refund.

Best bit, is Eurocom then realised I had pulled the money from them. Emailed me asking for a restocking fee, which I refused, seeing as I already paid the return postage, insured, from the UK to Canada. Then within 24 hours said, oh, we do have the card you need in stock, do you want to buy from us. 😁

A) No, I'm not stupid, I know you'll get me to purchase, then say, oh actually it isn't in stock, here's your refund minus our restock for the other card.

B) After not speaking to me for 3 months, despite, numerous emails from myself, then only contacting me once the CC company pulled the payment, why would I ever deal with you again?

Since then, I've bought all my Clevo gear from other trustworthy sellers and have done really well.

Yeah, it really annoyed me. I know mistakes happen and honestly, to this day, a simple apology would be enough.

It's not like our hobby is cheap and it takes a lot of trust to deal with sellers a 1/4 around the world. You're right, I might have just got to the 2 bad ones in the office out of a company of 20 say and I fell through the gap. I'v enot heard anyone else say bad things about them so in general, I don't think they are bad.
