I think it's pretty fun and it's by far my most-played game at ~1100 hours, but also keep in mind it is a game from 2013 running on a *garbage* game engine and by now it's starting to jump the shark with some of the more recent events and DLCs and such. If you're curious about getting into it, I'd wait for a sale and grab one of the bundles that includes most of the DLC for a few dollars altogether.
