Heh, tell me about it. I wasn't hoping we'd get past a couple episodes and I'd have to re-watch it on my own. Now all I hear is "let's go watch galactica" :classic_laugh:

Enjoy those early seasons.

Yeah, if I remember correctly, around mid-way of season 3 it starts to weaken, and season 4 feels bumpy also. But IIRC, it was still watchable, albeit not as strong as the beginning.

That’s it. I recall getting to the end of it (again, alone lol) without any super-serious regrets, although it was a trip. I will refrain from commenting on the ending, other than: JJ Abrams.

Man, I have fond memories of that show but it does start to peter out later on.  I think it could have done with fewer episodes per season; I seem to remember some pointless filler episodes in the latter halves of both seasons 2 and 3 that sort of dragged down the pace.  I also remember thinking, they have this "...but they have a plan" text that shows up in the intro bit, but it was clear that the writers did not have a long-term plan for the show, and it hurt them as they were trying to figure out how push towards the ending.

There was also a writers' strike at the time when season 3 was airing ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2007–08_Writers_Guild_of_America_strike ), so that likely contributed to decline in quality as well.

I was watching this show "live" and I recall this.  Production was impacted.  There was a gap of over six months or so between the first and second halves of season 4, which was not their original intent.  (That seemed like a long time back then, especially since it wasn't even technically a break between seasons, but I guess now it is normal to be waiting over a year between 10-episode seasons of a show like this.....)  At least one writer made comments along the lines of maybe the show wouldn't ever be finished, if SciFi gave up and cancelled it before the strike was resolved.

SW: The Clone Wars. Wasn’t expecting much given the age rating, but really well done, and the “democracy if you can keep it” theme is obviously very relevant today. Probably one of the healthiest war-themed animated series.

I just finished watching Fallout the TV series.

Honestly I had seen a couple reviews (mixed) some thought it was great and some thought awful.

Got to say I'm in the former camp...it freaking excellent man!!:classic_biggrin:

Sure it is not true to game lore.....but the detail that went into production of this series...it was made by fans of the

game(s).

I'm almost done with it also (I think I have 2 episodes left) and also liking it.
It captured the atmosphere of the game pretty well, and I think that's important for such adaptations. The story is just barely OK, but it doesn't ruin it, because this show isn't about the story really, at least not in my view.
