my and wifey are currently looking for a new appartment for rent and part of it is discussing how id be able to fit my upcoming BEAST desktop as well as my workout equipment (i do workouts at home since pandemic start) without it bothering her too much. now THATS a solution she couldnt refuse to accept 😄

Needs to have gears to increase productivity power. I swear I'd fly through the house if I pedalled on one of these.

Brilliant, all we need is an extended family edition - a couple of people pedalling hard in concert should be able to power a high-end rig.

But more seriously, in this day and age it's not such a bad idea to generate power from exercise bikes etc.

I use my stationary bike with a desktop surface instead of handle bars and stream to the laptop from my main pc. 

 

Perfect for ace combat or really any offline title. Ups the ante for the last mission when you have to fly underground while pedaling. Obviously fps is out but there are many genres.

So if the website is unavailable, you can reasonably guess that the weather has been cloudy of late in Barcelona 

 

There is also a lot of interesting info on that page. E.g. their up time plummeted after they upgraded to a new Linux kernel which increased the average power usage of the server by 0.3 Watts  (from 1.2 to 1.5 W).  ...And solar panels are bloody expensive too; guess I'm just gonna have to start pedalling faster!

The bio hybrid (the one I would buy) is gone bankrupt already.  Back to the RAD wagen and rocky mountain instinct e bikes for me.  I finally blew my knee out for good, waiting to get x rays now so I am thinking the pedal assist will be my life from now on!

Don't need to justify getting an ebike in most places in Canada except inner cities, or during Tour de France prep, I imagine. Vast distances. Does the European 250W power limit also apply?

I have no Idea. I know that the rocky mountain has the most powerful 48v system in any e assistance bike.  The rad wagon gets 40kms or more to a single charge and using the almost max position for power assist.  makes a big difference to an old guy like me.
