I really hope RDNA3 isnt disappointing, it'll be a slaughterhouse as per usual for AMD in the comments lol

Overhyped by hopeful fans and then scorned for another year, the usual cycle I tend to see for AMD especially since Vega, though AMD is partly to blame since they drank the kool-aid themselves for a bit.

Some very smart people at Intel and yet they seem to have trouble to get comparisons with their competitors right - wonder why that is...

But yeah, same old same old and the reason why I do not even look at the comparisons any more that a company does with others. Intel against Intel, AMD against AMD or Nvidia against Nvidia is fine but not this kind of bullshit - waste of time.

what can i say, only the best for my lady and her gear (and more toys for me to play around with 😂) however, im not planning to get her an RPL cpu anytime soon, ill likely wait for 14th gen to come out first and prices to drop. Alfred is already overpowered as it is for her needs 😄

yep, as usual wait for third party reviewers to show us proper data. whatever the case, i have the feeling itll be veeeery close, give and take depending on the benches. competition is sooooo awesome....

Yeah, I figured that your lady would not care that much and be happy with what she has 🙂

Waiting for prices to go down sound like a good idea in that case and besides you have your hands full with your new AMD rig 😉

I would also think that this generation will be reasonably close and I agree on competition. Gotta hand it to AMD for pushing both Intel and Nvidia!

I wonder if we will have an era of oversized CPU heatsinks again, I want an upgraded Cooler Master V10

For 13900K AFII 360 AIO with 6 Noctua iPPC is barely enough at stock ratios. The CPU really needs to be delidded and ideally cooled using a custom WC loop. Other than that, it's absolutely awesome.
