Around 220 with transport, if the repair is successful. If not then only around 30-and 40 euros. Well see, ill keep you posted on the progress. Will take around 3 weeks though.. Until then working and playing cloud games with gamepass😅 on the i3 8100 office pc or the tab s7+

Depends if the firm where i send my Clevo will repair it or not. If not then i need to get early a desktop, i almost bought yesterday the stuff, had to fight with myself. 😁 If the Clevo is dead i was thinking to buy fast a machine that i can afterwards upgrade when RDNA 3comes out. I had in mind the B650 Strix in white pair it with a 7700x and the trident 6000 CL 32 or 36 in white of course. PSU im still undicided maybe the Phanteks AMP 80 Plus 1000W or the LianLi 850 White, didnt find any platinum white edition.. and the O11 dynamic evo in white, gpu going to stay on an old evga 1660 and decide when RDNA 3 comes out if red or Green and what White Edition will come. So this is the Emergency PC if the Clevo is dead. If its not dead then maybe the Strix 670x white with the 7900x maybe for Black Friday when there are some savings on the AMD stuff. The final goal is to get the x3d version next year. Now i am on a Office PC with i3 8100 and 16 gb ram. Thank god for Game Pass, i can play with the cloud some games. 😁 What is stupid you cannot play with keyboard an mouse..only Gamepad in the cloud so FPS are out so im playing Forza 5 and Sniper Elite

Found a firm that's doing clevo repairs among other laptops. They say they will look into it and try to repaie the motherboard. So one more chance to repair it. If it fails ill sell the rest of the components and go desktop route early as planned.

Yeah, sadly there is no future for DTRs..170sm and km are end road and there are lright now behind the latest dektops because of the castrated mxms, i dont think nvidia will produce 4xxx mxm for them.

Hy guys need some prices for my Clevo, sadly the mainboard is dead, so i think im going to go the desktop route that i wanted early now. So im thinking to sell the rest of the components, i need some prices for them, in EUR if its ok cus im in EU located. CPU: i9900k die is lapped, delided and with the best IHS for Clevo, the amazing BartX. GPU, RTX 2080 MXM 150W. RAM: HyperX Impact HX429S17IBK2/32 4x16GB Sticks CL17 SSD: 2 x m2 Samsung 970 EVO 1GB 1 x Crucial MX500 1 GB Unified Heatsink for RTX2xxx. Also the dead Barbone with the Mainboard.. I also have the modified Cooler Master Notepal uU2 with 2 Noctua PWM NF 14 5V 1500 rpm with the PWM Noctua controller Thx

Yeah i tried all the Ram sticks one by one, so i think they are good. The rtx i cannot try it in another system sadly but i think its ok aswell. Why i think the Motherboard is faulty is because of the first thing that happend was that one of the SSD Sata ports was not working anymore. That was the first symptome it showed..

Looks like my board is dead😓 I just put inside the i3 8100 and its still doing the same thing.. Screen is black and after a while fans go to 100% and shutdown.. Shoul i try one thing more and try and rewrite the fc and bios? What programmer do i need?? @razor0601 Can u pm with a price foe barebone? Thx 😁

Yes let me see tomorrow with the i3 8100 if the Mainboard works or not and try and test the i9900k on another pc. Yes i saw that as well but i think its from the last application there last year so it worked until now like this. But i will take a contact spray and clean that when i mount the test cpu

Another thing: first time when i took the cmos battery out and it booted i got a message at the start that the Cmos battery is low on power. Is that s standard message or maybe is indeed ghe battery power low and needs to be changed

You think thats burnt? Or maybe looks like that because of light. Did another Photo. Cleaned the socket know. Ill put back the cpu and gpu and take all ssd out. Leave just one ram stick inside and take the cmos battery out and ill give it another try... Still waiting for an answer from a seller so i can pick up a i3 9100 cpu to try it out.

Sure. But i think this pin was already so before when i put the 9900k inside so over 1 year already. I dont know if the gpu is the problem: the only think that i did was change the timing of the rams because xmp was not working anymore.. But with the changes i didnt boot anymore so i reset the cmos battery and afterwards it did boot into windows but ram was only at 1119 mhz like. And after onr more windows reset it didn't boot anymore and the behavior was like it is know... Can i trx and rewrite the bios from usb stick somehow? Or i need a programmer?

Did this after i left the battery out for the whole night. Sadly still the same. Did a video. Is the bios bricked? It only happend aftwr i tried to get xmp profile working again. Normally when i reste the cmos u can hear how the fans goes 100% qt the beginning and afterwards bios starts. Now this process does not happend anymore after cmos reset. Anyway i can try to write the bios again in this state? Function + B procedure work?

Looks like i have almost the same problem but the cause is different, started with one ssd and when i made the first cmos reset i lost xmp profile and the ram was working only at 1119 mhz and when i did a second cmos reset to try and get back the xmp laptop died and i can boot anymore and its behaving the same... fans at 100% and after a while it shuts down

Ok so laptop worked but xmp profiles was not working anymore and i tried to reset cmos but xmp didnt work anymore...took the battery out and leave it and after some time came the low cmos battery screen, ok enter, ec firmwire ok enter and booted in windows but again ram was working only at 1119 mhz so i restarted to go into bios but that was it..now the laptop doesnt start anymore.. just the fans goes 100 % screen is black and after some time it tuns off.. took out all ram but left 1 stick only, left only 1 ssd inside and took the cmos battery at least 3 times out still the same problem... black screen with fans at 100% and orange led blinking and after a while it just shuts down😒 What to do? Dont understand why the reset bios is not working anymore.. LE: i observed that the CPU heatsink is cold . gpu heatsink is warm and getting warmer. Sign that the CPU is dead?

Hi guys, just returned from holiday and got bad suprise. Booted in Windows and one Sata SSD Drive was not seen anymore the Crucial, just like that. Went in the Bios and was aswell not present anymore. I switched the Drives, took the Crucial out, and put the WD in that slot and the Crucial in the WD slot... Rebooted and now bad suprise again. I see the Crucial but the WD is gone 😪 . Shotdown, reset CMOS but nothing happend..one drive is not there. SO the question is..wth happend? Is the SSD slot dead. just like that out of thin air? or can i repair it somehow. The right slot is the one.
