How many spinning hard drives do you have in your desktop?

7-8 streaming services is a bit overkill...all you need is disney plus/netflix/hulu(if in the states)/crave...thats 4 at like 13 bucks a pop..I actually don't know of anyothers besides prime that are worth getting -

oic ok.....but I guess this has vered off topic but do you think its worth it? like when the 5k series comes out will I see a bump in gaming at 4k or am I better just building a desktop? kinda like what you did -
I don't care if it will run or not, I want cutting edge graphics basically photorealistic this time around if I can run it great if I cant thats cool too always fun tweaking

whew pretty cool that you guys have uses for your multiple laptops....pretty interesting read.....I personally might just buy a desktop and keep this laptop for a few years..I am thinking of buying a TCL 6 series 120hz 4k tv and gettings a 4k series desktop as my main rig and when I want to sit on the couch use this -

oh nice thanks....I downloaded nes9x its ok....got a couple roms and im happy but im downloading retroarch...should be good..I really hope I can save my progress as I dont have 20 hours straight to beat mario world lol

oic geeesh.. I was under the impression newer is better lol? sarcasm Yeah so I'm stuck with TB4 does this mean im only getting 1 lane and egpu will be slow with the 11800h? because I really was expecting to use a egpu in 3 years time...and thanks for clearing the confusing mess @Reciever....your alot smarter than me but don't let it get to you 😛 my dads really smart like you guys and alot of times I have to ask him questions about computers/science...so much false information out there -

I used to have two laptops and one just sat, both very nice....I noticed you guys have alot of laptops/desktops? do you use them all or is it kinda like a one room one computer deal? -

yeah it doesnt make alot of sense.... slower cpu performance better performance due to wiring... kinda confused....so all egpus are tb3 but tb4 actual connection is faster? misleading youtube videos -
its really sad, i can't imagine what my 10 yearold niece will have to go through just to stay alive by the time shes 40 most of the world will be uninhabitable

bah!! I bought a omen 16 2022 laptop and it forced me to install windows 11 and i'd imagine alot of people are being forced to use this slow turb based OS..I have yet to put windows 10 on it as I don't want to re install everything it's setup just the way I like it and besides im using oso shutup and start is back....anyone else tweaking windows 11 and not minding it...that is forced to use it

i guess ima old fart....was under the old impression IC diamond was the best non metal thermal paste. I had H2 and it was terrible..so what should I go for if im not willing to risk liquid metal? details

oic hfm i see your point! but with tb4 they are seeing a big jump in performance, and if its the same you wouldnt see such a big jump.. actually im confused...so your saying my 11800h and tb4 will be slower? faster cpu and equal tb speed=less performance because its??/??? -

i know performance is less but its in a compact form factor that you can actually move....and a few times i bought a used laptop and sold it for what i paid two years later....dare i say free computing. -
i honestly think its coming out in 2022....a suprise release would be a revenue move that would generate the most money
