my favorite laptop had a 6990m i hear ya... lol i remember baking the gpu to bring it back to life then it died like 2 weeks later....i think the temp set was 375c...melts the solder.I would switch to AMD that is if they had a dlss equivelent.....FSR just ain't feeling it

5k for a powerful desktop? i was under the impression desktop gaming was cheaper than laptops..i specd out a 3060 system and its like 2400 with specs similar to my laptop thats with monitor rgb keyboard and mouse

@electrosoftwhy amd dlss helps quite a bit its like native resolution but with 16x AA... FSR isn't very good or do you just benchmark like the rest of us?

kinda annoyed with youtube. watched a few videos and alot of people are saying the 3070 mobile is like a 2080 super max q which just isn't the case a rtx 3060 is faster than a 2080 super max q and I cant stand the virus that is false information....heres a port royal benchmark of the 2080 super max q and you seen me score 5179. and even if it isn't max q its 150w....like wheres are these kids getting their data

meh i cant notice anything past 60hz...120hz smooth 165hz meh wont do it.....i bought a msi 32in 1080p 165hz screen.....great colors smooth ect but i just dont think ima hop on the 144hz/165hz bandwagon..

yeah I decided to hang on to it and go the egpu route in a few years...not a heavy gamer so i should be set for a while
