oh nice thanks....I downloaded nes9x its ok....got a couple roms and im happy but im downloading retroarch...should be good..I really hope I can save my progress as I dont have 20 hours straight to beat mario world lol

for me it's mainly super mario world...miss when games were actually fun and a fun challenge....simple pleasures

yeah it doesnt make alot of sense.... slower cpu performance better performance due to wiring... kinda confused....so all egpus are tb3 but tb4 actual connection is faster? misleading youtube videos

its really sad, i can't imagine what my 10 yearold niece will have to go through just to stay alive by the time shes 40 most of the world will be uninhabitable

bah!! I bought a omen 16 2022 laptop and it forced me to install windows 11 and i'd imagine alot of people are being forced to use this slow turb based OS..I have yet to put windows 10 on it as I don't want to re install everything it's setup just the way I like it and besides im using oso shutup and start is back....anyone else tweaking windows 11 and not minding it...that is forced to use it

i guess ima old fart....was under the old impression IC diamond was the best non metal thermal paste. I had H2 and it was terrible..so what should I go for if im not willing to risk liquid metal? details

oic hfm i see your point! but with tb4 they are seeing a big jump in performance, and if its the same you wouldnt see such a big jump.. actually im confused...so your saying my 11800h and tb4 will be slower? faster cpu and equal tb speed=less performance because its??/???

i know performance is less but its in a compact form factor that you can actually move....and a few times i bought a used laptop and sold it for what i paid two years later....dare i say free computing.

i honestly think its coming out in 2022....a suprise release would be a revenue move that would generate the most money

its just from old memory the thunderbolt 4 comparison I saw showed 4 ahead of 3.....I don't remember the article but thats what i remember....im obviously wrong if you cling to this....ill do some youtube searching and report back sorry @hfm your usually right but its looking like tb4 is 25 to 50 percent faster......the video you linked is garbage these reviewers straight up tested games performance and skipped the mumbo jumbo tech talk.....yeah thunderbolt uses 1 lanes blah blah but ironically its faster in games and at the end of the day thats all that matters

yeah I don't take my phone out into the woods as their is usually no wifi data and renders the phone basically useless or a camera....for most people they are close to a power source. but I'm kinda wondering where you usually take your phone where there is no power source? like even vehicles have outlets or you can get an adaptor and charge it in your vehicle.. actually every year i travel for 16 hours through the rockies and every hour or so theres a town with power....and when i worked on the rigs i went to some pretty remote locations only accessible with helicopters...i brought my laptop to work and never had issues charging it when back at the camp....i suppose power outlets would be an issue in 1890... i just dont see it..
