if your 39 the commodore isnt your time! NES was out early 90s and now you can buy them on ebay..so a 12 yearold kid born in 2010 buys a nes and says how much games have changed lol......get my drift its not your generation....I bought a candle, doesn't mean im from 10AD....lolz..if your 39 your system would have been the NES or Sega master system....if your 62 then it would be an atari

I don't need to be the bringer of bad news but there is lag on your screen/mouse and if you got 55ms your response time would be like 5-8ms on the fastest hardware....I think shrouds was around 65ms and hes a millionaire due to his quick reflexes.- 55 replies

I agree, but its more playable than you might think....I can't see the game being a downgrade from the tech demo. in the end it might even look better if thats possible. its a full sized city and you can fly around drive walk ect......so its a touch different than most tech demos...also on a happy note if UE5 can look that good I think the future will bring some pretty amazing looking games.

anywho! on a happy note the drivers corrupted my ssd and i had to do a restore and lost my overclocks...not a big deal as it only took me two months of tweaking pffffffttt -

grabbed from ultrabook review. an overclocked 100/150 130w 3060 and a stock 11800h in the asus Z17 3DMark 13 – Fire Strike: 20235 (Graphics – 22576, Physics – 24912, Combined – 9828); 3DMark 13 – Port Royal: 5242; 3DMark 13 – Time Spy: 9019 (Graphics – 8937, CPU – 9515); Uniengine Superposition – 1080p Extreme: 5424; Uniengine Superposition – 1080p Medium: 16109; Handbrake 1.3.3 (4K to 1080p encode): 45.21 average fps; PassMark 10: Rating: 7588 (CPU mark: 23218, 3D Graphics Mark: 16941, Disk Mark: 29020); PCMark 10: 7177 (Essentials – 10760, Productivity – 8894, Digital Content Creation – 10481); GeekBench 5.3.1 64-bit: Single-Core: 1623, Multi-core: 9641; CineBench R15 (best run): CPU 2193 cb, CPU Single Core 228 cb; CineBench R20 (best run): CPU 5387 cb, CPU Single Core 578 cb; CineBench R23 (best run): CPU 13902 cb, CPU Single Core 1498 cb; x265 HD Benchmark 64-bit: 28.77 s. so as you can see I beat an overclocked 130w 3060 which is pretty good, but honestly I miss the days of 50 percent gains from overclocking, everything seems gimped. 11800h can be at least 20 percent faster than stock if one could get the thermals under control. hard to cool this laptop, thinking of getting a cooling pad. guys/bros 512.12 drivers are out......downloading now! will get back to you benchmarks are down witcher 3 frames are down....stinks like poop...looks like poop....must be poop don't bother with new drivers heres a pic of witcher highest framerate in that old given scene....before 93 now 89...the drop is like a massive underclock proof timespy is down -

Highest firestrike score on all counts highest port royal well sorta tomb raider for reference with the highest settings gets a 125fps average with a full power 3070 no overclock heres mine with a huge overclock 115w don't forget not the highest tdp for the 3060 so its a pretty incredible score and drum roll.....My goal since I had this laptop was to break 9000, many people on reddit said it was not possible with the 115w version of the 3060 but I kept trying and trying and trying and look below...easily my highest score ever super excited to show you guys(bros) its fun benchmarking and unfortunetly it makes little to no difference in gaming heres witcher 3 absolutely maxed at 1080p no overclock overclock 3fps difference so I guess just because your score is high on TS does not mean the gains will carry over to gaming, however drivers can make a huge impact, which leads me to a question! has anyone tried the beta drivers by nvidia and how are they! also when does the next official driver coming out roughly and now after some tweaking of control panel and a slightly higher overclock. I might be able to squeeze 100 more points on gpu but im very happy getting 9200 overall in ts. heres my record breaking run.....im pretty sure its the highest 115w 3060 score....maybe someone can find a higher score on gpu...not sure..overall its not the highest because my dang cpu overheats added today: edging closer to a 3070 in the omen 16 -

Managed 6700 even with a overclock and cleaning of my vents, cpu score is about where it should be now BTW it was stock but at 4k, was curious how this at 4k compares to my old laptop at 1080p -
I don't want to argue this as its highly subjective, but carbon specifically diamonds are tops when it comes to thermal conductivity..fact. but as for implemtation thats another story, and I don't think any paste has dropped me close to 15c vs arctic silver 5 since iv'e been laptop gaming(circa 2004)

yeah im an ol OG nbr member... and as I understand it back in the day IC diamond was the best and still is..however trolls are saying it scratches the die and the performance is mediocre? weirdos.....the diamonds are nano particles and don't scratch the die I used it on an old asus gaming laptop with overvolting I was seeing gpu temps exceed 100c with ic diamond they peaked around 80c... argue this? I applied it many times on many laptops and it never scratched my die? it kinda angers me with all the false info out there on a tangent, the new switch state pads seem like they are tops. they are solid below 50c and liquid after

I was going to say if your thinking of jumping in to VR a good start would be a 100 dollar oculus quest 1....nice 1440p OLED displays and works with steam VR this is a general comment directed to people thinking of jumping into VR

What phone are you daily driving currently?

today was a good day 😛 Looks like I woke up to the new s21 ultra UI.4.1 all I noticed was the pictures look better, like alot better and now I can use zoom in pro modes..thats all..but it's a pretty big jump in quality very happy with it and for that yes today is a good day. -
yeah It's kinda dumb for me to say go for the 16in when you want 17in.....but here goes nothing the 16in is the perfect size its 16in in a 15in form factor and very portable. but if portability isn't your thing then the much bigger 17in is the way to go....I mention this because of the temp performance it's one of the coolest running laptops out
