I feel overwhelmed by it as im not a hardcore gamer anymore this game is like the new crysis for me personally. I'm really enjoying it, the gun play reminds me of fallout 3. the story is pretty ok not super into it yet but I hear things get more interesting 20 hours in. im curious what the artifacts are and why they do what they do, and what the origins of them are. I like exploring the worlds and seeing different scenes. I havent really been able to mine much as im just thinking now about how to get more credits, like should I be mining on mars or something and then where do I sell the metals I have alot left to figure out as far as the basics go, I was alot sharper and better at videogames in my younger years(illness). but yes im really enjoying it and this is looking like the second game I beat since crysis. forza motorsport being the first and this being the second which says more than any review or perhaps its just a coincidence the game is holding my attention. Im thinking of playing other games on my backlog like cyberpunk/witcher3/rdr2/and finishing gta v...might even give fallout and skyrim(modded) a chance. gaming can be rewarding much like solving a intricate puzzle or watching/reading an enthralling movie or book and yes ive had some long sessions. 30min-3hours. I just played for an hour im just taking a break (playing tom petty-wont back down lol) absorbing what I watched in the game. they say we can only learn for 10 minutes at a time and a break after 10mins and reflection on the 10 mins is a good idea. -

even newbs like me are getting better performance that the media outlet benchmarkers their bar is low probably have 400 processes running in the background, i think it says something when people with 3060 cant run low 1080p and im running 4k ultra/low shadows and getting a locked 30 with the performance glitches here and there. but honestly your performance seems mighty high you must be overclocking? ultra everything no upscaling or fsr ect: settings example performance: hovers in high 30s maxed at 1080p i will add i use fsr2 at 80-90 percent resolution for 4k and it looks great but if i want i can run medium/high at 4k without FSR2 and get around 24-34 fps this game is a unique rpg, it seems to grab your attention when a typical rpg doesn't. this game is slow at the beginning but man o man does it pick up. I just got to the warlock mission and I haven't even finished 0.1 percent of the game with 12 hours logged in at 1080p im getting 7-9fps more than a desktop 3060 and my gpu is undervolted and underclocked for temps during a long session. also I'd like to say I think its mainly software and drivers not hardware or engine related with the performance, I expect a drivers from nvidia and amd that will dramatically improve stability and performance. heres hoping with fingers crossed. as for the actual game id say a 7.5-8.5 is justified anything lower is trolling. -

they are working on a quest 3 lite for around 200usd, should be interesting and fingers crossed they don't skimp on the storage and screen

yes, I don't understand why witcher 3 and rdr2 did not hold my attention and this does, I find it addicting mining on random planets and exploring even though it looks about as good as skyrim from 2011. nearly 12 years. really though

not a 1000x better lol however to throw it into perspective iv'e played for 9 hours and only done like 3 missions out of 100 plus. enjoying a game is usually subjective, its not a flop the way fallout 79 was but its also not the game we were promised. I get why its recieving backlash i get that, but for what its worth its still a good not great game by the masses standards

Starmap - List of Systems and Planets - Starfield Guide - IGN this game is too good to be true or is it? I think after not playing a story driven game for years my bar is low so thats likely the reason i think starfield is so good but compared to rdr2 gta v and witcher 3 its probably not as good. havent played rdr 2 or witcher 3 they just havent caught me

I'm at the part where I have to mine for that guy from the outpost on jemison. This game I will give a chance. I don't mind this game. Found witcher boring. But I am not even half a percent in and am blown away by the size of this game. I don't mind missions to collect stuff. It's like wow meets mass effect. I have it locked at 30 with ultra high settings shadows on low motion blur off and resolution at 80 fsr2. I was not expecting to play this at 4k 30fps. I was expecting 1080p to run at 30 based off what I saw on youtube..tweaking os ftw -

woah I was not expecting this, im curious what the minerals are and why he tripped out. lmao its kinda glitchy the shooting but its kinda fun seeing them crawl sick i know. but yeah this game so far is abnormally good, maybe people really did just have high expectations, i had none and so far its fun exploring. side note its annoying me but my guy is moving real slow i dont play RPGS ever but is it because of my inventory? i remember in a rpg not sure which one but when you pick up too much stuff it slows your guy down(thinking skyrim) so far its a master piece not a 7/10 for sure not just good if the intro is anything to go by -

mix of skyrim and mass effect and graphically like fall out(terrain) cyber punk level on everything else playing at 4k high preset 80percent resolution scale getting low 30s but consistant. and suprisingly its funner that I expected like playing a movie, held my attention for like 10 min I will go back to it just taking a break. impressive start -

popcorn! Why tacitly call someone wrong then say your not calling them out and saying its wrong . consumers have general knowledge. Alot more people are educated with computers than not. I don't buy this whole people are consumer zombies randomly buying electronics and losing because of one mans greed. I don't own a 4090 because I don't want/ can't afford it. does this mean the 4090 is a bad price or that I don't know anything about the 4090? most people own 1650s and as it stand they are the best bang for the buck, so yeah consumers kinda do know what they are doing as a whole, also im not interested in being called an idiot or saying that clear facts like steam games charts are unreliable or from uncredible sorce. like holy cow man. have a shot of jack daniels. -
There was just a big gta 6 leak and 2 hours after I can't find it. But from what one guy said it's going to be using a next gen engine and have as close to photo realistic graphics as has ever been created. Doesn't surprise me as even gta 4 has held up and gta 5 is still a good looking and even after 5 billions hours fun. Also if someone finds the content feel free to share !! apparently next month we get an anouncement.

geeze you wern't kidding when you said you don't game, I always thought you played a little crysis here and there and checked out games for benching and messing around. I don't really play alot of games just racing and fps or if a game is really good graphically just bench. I used to game alot but those days are over as iv'e lost interest in doing the same thing over and over. -

yeah I was close to buying a m1 ipad air, should be future proof for like 30 years hah. its so far ahead of everyone else its kinda funny. -
2080>3060 this is not good news. maybe ill be able to tweak low medium settings and manage 30fps at 4k if not I won't support the game inexcusable.

I have no idea, sorry/ we will know in 7 hours, im starting to get excited as I might like just roaming around granted its more interesting than watching paint dry lol. they spent a long time developing the game im sure there must be a few interesting points of interest. also im really curious how it will run on my 3060 at 4k im guessing medium 4k native resolution scaling and 28fps average.

seems more accurate. slow as molasses, nice picture and I think you shouldn't bother running it unless you have a 13th gen processor. 645 is right in between m1 max and m1 not a bad score. corresponding score is 11835 in r23 multi -

is it fun in an action kinda way? or is it more story driven?
