  1. Post a photo so that you can see the entire socket and the problematic leg.

  3. I haven't tested these ssd to mxm adapters yet, but I talked to the person who develops them. As I wrote earlier, he only has a few test samples that he made at his own expense from a third-party printed circuit board manufacturer, and at the moment their cost is very high. As he says, if he can get a large number of orders for these adapters, then he can make it cheaper to manufacture.
  4. Previously, qtj1 / 0 of the new revision with the ihs cover were on Aliexpress, but now they are not there. I ordered these processors from my supplier, but at the moment they also rarely appear, very popular and good processors for their money.

  6. The Intel Flash Descriptor (FD) is a data structure that is programmed on the SPI flash chip on all Intel based platforms. It contains information such as space allocated for each region of the flash image, read-write permissions for each region, reserved space for vendor-specific data, chipset configuration parameters and more. In the BIOS from Prema FD is blocked by default and therefore, when installing such a BIOS, you do not have access to overwriting all regions (blocks) in the BIOS structure, which in turn can cause incorrect BIOS installation and ultimately leads to the above described consequences. Changing the ME to a fresher and cleaner one also increases the chances of a successful installation.
  7. As far as I remember, Eurocom used Prema bios until the events that many people know about happened ... so I don’t think it makes sense to change the BIOS in your case, with a high probability they will be the same except for the boot logo)
  8. As a rule, bios from Prema are blocked from overwriting and when you try to install them, an error may pop up or after a successful installation of the bios, the laptop starts to boot for a long time before the logo, like at the first start after resetting cmos, but this happens after every Windows reboot. In order to avoid the above problems, you need to open your BIOS dump in the Coffee Time 0.92 program and unlock FD locks, as well as update ME to 11.8.77.3664 Corporate and select the ME Disabled value. Save your updated bios dump and download it to your laptop.
  9. It is better to take any other brand, but only laptops not from this company. The most terrible laptops in terms of quality and cooling are made by this brand.
  10. On the Clevo pd71pnt1-g laptop, the sound is excellent with Atlas and Sound Blaster X 360 support. On the TongFang 2021 laptops, the sound is THX technology, and on the 2022 models, the sound is with Nahimic 4.0 support. So with the sound on these laptops, everything is just fine.

  12. There is a good model from Clevo pd71pnt1-g with 12900h and rtx3070ti/3080ti, aka xmg pro 17. Or take a closer look at laptops from TongFang, sold under the XMG Neo 17 2021/2022/Mechrevo/Machenike brands and others.
  13. on x170smg there is no support for 11 gen intel and I think it will not.
  14. Are you interested in modular laptops with desktop processors or are you also considering BGA laptops?
  15. What version of Dsanke bios for p775dm2/3 do you need?
  16. In your video "Clevo p775tm1-g only cpu" I just now noticed a strange behavior of the power and battery indicators. Time code 2:08-2:12. It turns out that during startup the indicators do not light up and this is very strange. What parts are installed in this video? If you started only with the processor installed and without RAM and disks, then try starting the laptop without a video card, but with one RAM bar installed, a processor and a disk with Windows. Make a video and post it, it's interesting to see if the behavior changes. Also try starting without a battery installed, powered only by the laptop's power supply.
  17. I put 3060/3070/3080 in x170smg, I didn't modify the heatsink, I put the heatsink from x170kmg, they are compatible. You can unlock any original bios from Clevo using an unlocker, the last available bios was 1.07.04 if I'm not mistaken.
  18. When you start without a video card installed, there will be a black screen, but the laptop will boot into the system and after a while, due to the fact that there will be no information about the status of the card, its temperature, the laptop will go into emergency mode with maximum cooler speeds and turn off. When starting with a faulty video card, there can be 3 scenarios: 1) The laptop will boot into the system and give a picture, but when you try to install the driver, artifacts and error 31 or 43 will appear. 2) The laptop will boot with a black screen and will work normally without displaying images on the display, does not go into emergency mode. 3) When you press the power button, the laptop briefly flashes the LED and immediately turns off, this behavior is typical when there is a short circuit on the video card or any other equipment. Also, similar behavior can be with a damaged BIOS chip or a damaged BIOS file structure.
  19. https://disk.yandex.ru/d/otRpfuGMtOe9Tw CCC 3.75X Fixed Clevo Control Center from Dream Machines. Try with this Control Center. First, remove the Control Center, then restart the PC, and delete the remnants from the x86 folder, only then install a new one. This is true for those who have Windows 11 installed, those who have Windows 10 installed will only help by removing Clevo Fan Control from the Control Center
  20. It looks like a power management problem. Previously, I encountered a problem with some x170kmg owners associated with an unexpected shutdown under load, this led to a further inability to start the laptop from the power button, it helped to remove the battery and reinsert it, after which the laptop started normally from the power button, but only until the next unforeseen shutdown under load. And what is noteworthy, most often this problem manifested itself in the performance mode set in the Clevo Control Center, later, by experience, it was possible to find out the cause of these failures, there was a conflict in power management of the cooling fans, removing the Clevo Fan Control program from the Control Center solved this problem. Later, the corrected Control Center 3.75x appeared, which seems to have solved this problem. Perhaps you have something similar, but the opposite happens in low performance mode, somewhere the power management fails and the laptop turns off.Perhaps you have something similar, but the opposite happens in low performance mode, somewhere the power management fails and the laptop turns off.
