Completely remove this intel xtu, a rather nasty software that breaks the operating system by making registry changes and so on. Better use the Quick CPU or Throttle Stop software to configure the processor.

Dream Machine made a modified CCC, it works much better, and they also fixed an old problem related to fan control that caused the laptop to turn off with the inability to start it further from the power button, only remove the battery and put it back in place, after that the laptop started up again as expected but only until the next emergency shutdown.

I installed a 2k 165Hz matrix on my x170kmg with NY2 revision and I can say for sure that G-sync does not work with this matrix at x170kmg, G-sync is supported only on 1920 * 1080 240 and 300 hertz matrices. Based on this, you should not be nervous and look for a matrix with revision NY2))), you can safely enjoy the one you already have. And I strongly doubt that the lack of G-sync support somehow affects, I didn’t notice any gaps and jumps in the picture, everything goes smoothly and synchronously.

The problem is not the revision of the matrix, these 2k 165Hz matrices do not work with G-sync at x170smg / kmg
