Thats not the Federal Government, that is the State of California right? Beyond the normal motif of a healthy amount of skepticism for the Government, add in that now they have commentary on how Twitter is run after the Twitter Files are released by a number of reputable Journalists while also having been found guilty of effectively attempting to turn a number of these social media platforms into state actors via threats of regulation or heavy handed suggestions. The repercussions of such a decision is yet to be felt since this was fairly recent. Now following the Federal Government suing for "discrimination of not looking at asylee's and refugees at SpaceX" a company where one might very well need a certain degree of clearance from the Government, which will by definition discriminate. Since I had to undergo that same process myself for merely touching computers that may eventually be touched by government employee's to which the process was several months followed by multiple interviews of myself and those in my circle by the FBI, I cant imagine the clearance needed for working in a company where the main focus is to build and launch rockets. Follow that with the growing tensions over Starlink, where the Federal Government wants to grant cart blanche to Ukraine its access, but seemingly doesnt want to pay for it, nor actually manage when and where its use is intended. Effectively doging responsibility for such decisions and leaving it to a private actor. Since this War has been going on for a bit now, they should have put terms in the recent contract with Starlink that the US Gov't would have control over its services in Ukraine for the duration of the war. It seems like that wasnt done, cant say for certain since obviously the terms of that contract are not open to the public. Please dont mistake this as being for or against the War in Ukraine. Im aware that there is definitely a cult of personality surrounding Musk, and that he is far from the image that some paint for him. It reads like retaliation to me, but perhaps I am missing some additional details. Obviously Im not an arbiter truth and those that either in person or content I consume all have their own opinions injected to how such subjects are disseminated.

MSi Afterburner also has a built-in "FPS" benchmark just have to set the keys you want to use to start and stop. -
The pictures above should give you an idea for how much length you would be shaving off for the 1800 vs Full Size. The 1800 size was what I personally wanted, but QMK and BT + Wired gave me some ideas for work use so. FC980M seems to once again be on the backburner no idea if I'll ever pick it up at this point but oh well.

I just picked up a Keychron K4 Pro with etc etc Brown switches. Half the justification for this is the Bluetooth and wired connections. I am curious if I can use this for work purposes, but that would be probably more along the lines of a "USB thread" lol @Papusan Did you ever end up getting the 1800 keyboard? So far the typing experience is pleasant so I am happy about that at least for personal use except for perhaps the left shift key. Nothing wrong with it just the sound profile of that key is disttinctly different than the rest of the board. For anyone interested after digging around a bit to see what was out there in the way of "keyboard" upgrades I came across this item. https://handheldsci.com/kb/ It adds bluetooth to keyboards that would otherwise not have it. I also was thinking of spending some time repairing my IBM Model M keyboard where a few of the keys do not work, either that or send it in to Unicomp to repair. It also has quite the aftermarket scene in terms of controller boards and QMK. Anyways here are some comparison pictures of the different layouts I have. I'll merge it from the next post.

HWINFO64 should give you limit reasons
-
I dont know that the US government would be a worthwhile reference
-
Still need a adapter info and hwinfo. Like I said I ran my R1 with no battery and had no issues at all, the cause is elsewhere in the system.
-
mosfets werent as robust as the M17x R4 and M18x R2 but never read that it had the same problems as the 17 R2 and newer as those issues would cause the CPU to run at 800mhz until at best a reboot flushes the system at worst stayed persistent.

Ahh right, and running beyond 2000 FCLK things begin to spiral IIRC then I should settle for 4000Mhz with the tightest timings then. Well hopefully the prices will be kind when I start looking around. -

I dont mind if that means we can have more mGPU support :) I'd love to CFX the 5700XT....mostly because I still have 5 of them lmao Also is 4400Mhz the best balance between speed and timings for DDR4 @Mr. Fox? I have been debating getting some faster RAM for the X3D after seeing some anecdotal evidence of around 10% improvement in certain titles which might be worth adding a comparison (+content for the forum). -
I have decent success with the cheaper stuff but one of the bits did break on me, have had it for about a year now I think? https://www.amazon.com/STREBITO-Screwdriver-142-Piece-Electronics-Precision/dp/B08SGM6F79/ref=sr_1_1_sspa?keywords=precision+screwdriver+set&s=electronics&sr=1-1-spons&sp_csd=d2lkZ2V0TmFtZT1zcF9hdGY&psc=1 not sure if it will be the same price in Canada though

I only ran mine up to A14 and later A14+ using 4930mx @ 4.3Ghz and a GTX 1070 @ 120w for about 220w power draw. Was also using 5 drives internally IIRC Sometimes the adapter warning could throw a fit to so I usually had that disabled. Without some limit reasons though it'll be like taking stabs in the dark

I used to run my Ranger with no battery and didnt have those issues. May want to open HWINFO and try to get some limit reasons to try and narrow that down.

Is there a reputable place to purchase Win10 LTSC anymore? Or is that mostly a thing of the past? -

While I can see this argument in a favorable light, considering your history, makes it quite difficult. Certain facts hold more weight with individuals than others, just like opinions and anything else that can be valued. Its the exchange of those ideas and opinions that enlarge perspective and the scope of reference for further consideration when the time calls for it. If someone is personally insulting you or anyone on this forum, there is a report function and just as I have in every event, will evaluate whats happening before taking action. If this is in regards to Reddit and/or Youtube Comments, well... Good Luck! -

People have, its a highly anticipated titled as such you will see more voices in the mix than you would otherwise. Dont make the mistake as perceiving the negative as the only sentiment out there, or vice versa. Evaluate it, judge, and if not for you at this point and time then revisit in 6 months or something. There are plenty of other titles to check out and an ever growing backlog to review. The world will keep spinning regardless. -

The P750FM needs some work, I think the 1080 started dying on me after too many experiments lmao If an RTX 3080 somehow ends up in my orbit it may be time to look into how to get supplemental power in it -

Didnt cost much, and lets me have a little fun away from certification training without being too cumbersome. I only have 1TB Toshiba Pcie 3.0 x4 NVME, everything else is SATA based. Without a heatsink I was able to force it to 71c, going to see what it runs at with the heatsink installed, tonight when the cable should arrive. I wonder if I can make a pedestal for my ITX system lmao With these extension cables it would be rather easy to add an M.2 NVME to PCIE adapter like when I was mining. Could be useful for testing out various devices on my daily driver without having to remove my GPU Actually I do have an 4x M.2 SSD to PCIE adapter Hmm, well something else to try out during the weekend. -
