  1. Making an app is not the same as building an OS that you will be praying doesn't get you sued for infringement.
  2. I believe you may have misquoted, I am not the one testing 1070 in the viking :)
  3. Not too encourage off topic too much but I had always thought that if you dont want to support a mobile device anymore, then its time to unlock the bootloader. You can claim its to prevent e-waste and encourage education in the field or something but I have some phones on my shelf from AT&T that still work fine that I cant do anything with since they are so far and away out of date. I use some of them as secondary alarm clocks and thats about it.
  4. There has been a lot of shifting in the VPN space as big companies keep buying out the smaller ones, so pending what you prioritize the answer may change. That being said I tend to use Private Internet Access, also used it to assit with making the NBRchive
  5. Just to be sure, you did use a VPN sourcing from your locale correct? Not VPNing to USA to then access this site?
  6. I'll reach out to my friend tonight and ask him to confirm the status of our backend but it appears to be your internet, unless it's also on wifi? Could try a VPN just to rule it out a bad pathway to the forum. Also could try getting a new public IP by changing Mac address of your modem/router which would effectively be the same thing from a troubleshooting standpoint.
  7. As I had stated multiple times before, you can hide your own posts.
  8. That MSi 1070 is the one I used to have, worked really well. Just need to make sure its not a G-sync card if my memory serves me correctly.
  9. This thread will now be unlocked. I dont mind heated debates or even arguments, but certain things are out of bounds. Its best to keep that in mind when engaging. Thanks.
  10. This thread will be locked until tonight.
  11. Eurocom cards are absurdly overpriced and they tend to profit off of other peoples experiments. For a while they were using the cheap ebay cards as well. Probably still are, given their track record. Does their GPU use supplement power? One of the difficulties of this hobby is that every GPU and vBIOS will have similar and/or unique conditions that must be met in order to function correctly. So while a Eurocom card may work, the MSI one you are looking may not. Not trying to convince you not to try, just trying to temper the hype. Ive been there lol
  12. Before you get to fitment, it looks like that card would need supplement power?
  13. With QMK, usb Synchronizer, and any system that can register USB handshake, you can create an AutoFire F8 macro so you dont have to spam it yourself. Admittedly might be over the top for a single user type scenario. I need to use sBIOS very often for work so now im not hitting F2, F8, F10, F12 for pro-longed periods of time anymore.
  14. Bit locker is doing what it's supposed to. If it's disabled while the OS is present then it will ask for a verification or refuse the boot cycle.
  15. Humor is lost on text /s exists for that reason.
  16. You had a conversation with chat gpt 3.5, which is not the subject of the discussion. You have to pay for 4.0, @ryan. Please do put more effort into your posts or you will be removed from the thread.
  17. I always stuck with the MSI GTX 1070 to avoid these kinds of issues
  18. If 140f (60c) is peak then that's quite respectable. Might also be able to look at event viewer for some of the crash reports.
  19. Dont worry in 10 years you'll see a private server lol
  20. It also says in that last gif that your preferred GPU is on Auto, does it always say that or should it show the Nvidia GPU as the selected option?
  21. The nice thing about workstations is their value drops off a cliff after a couple of years. Recently came into possession of a couple of 7810 precision workstations, each with 128GB of RAM and 20c/40t, making it a VM box for training purposes.
  22. If you dont know, then ask how to find out. I didnt have @saturnotaku do anything. He's not the type to take orders from the internet in the first place. So you have no interest in filling out the template, and arent interested in recommended systems. This thread has run its course, locked.
  23. Mind boggling, it would mean that the GPU is ONLY able to function in the slot they designed for it. Now its going to be, if its pcie and it fits, it should work* *except for where it doesnt.
