  1. All listings must follow the marketplace rules. If you are ready to make the needed changes I will unlock, until then, locked.
  2. Only so much time in the day ☹️
  3. Apologies, this is the setup 10850K @ 5.0Ghz 16GB DDR4 @ 4400Mhz RTX 3090 @ +100/+1200 @ 119% Power Limit Installed on SATA SSD 1300w PSU I have that tool installed, would have to spend some time with it to get familiar. Game doesnt seem to want to use more than 70% GPU utilization at the moment. I am not a fan of the Crysis IP so I am not very familiar with if it has any issues out of the box. Crysis 1 Remastered doesnt seem to have an issue using everything that is available to it.
  4. Good Evening ladies and gents, I have been slowly gathering some benchmarks for my hardware and eventually landed on Crysis 3. First issue, game was locked to 62 FPS, got this resolved by changing the vysnc to off and/or fast in Nvidia Control Panel. The next issue may not be an issue but just wanted to run it by some folks like @Mr. Fox , @electrosoft and maybe @jaybee83 ? Anyways I noticed that when looking out into the sea in the beginning of the game I notice the FPS jumps to around 200ish but doesnt hit full GPU utilization, then I look at a structure and the FPS goes straight to 120 on the dot. Is it the game or am I missing another tweak? Thanks in advance fellas
  5. I recommend HellBlade! Its about a woman suffering from voices in her head who goes on a journey to save her husbands soul from another pantheon of Gods.
  6. I have used both cabled and bluetooth controllers (xbox 360 and ps4) and both work fine. I tend to prefer controllers for 3rd person games.
  7. From what I hear, one of the real estate companies filed for bankruptcy in China and expected to be a domino effect on the rest of the country and drag the world a bit as well. If China was their main buyer, that might dry up here soon.
  8. You could try Linux, some limitations on other machines were overcome via OS as opposed to specifically BIOS to GPU issues At the very least wont cost you anything but some time before making more investments, Welcome to the Forum!
  9. That would likely depend on AMD rising to the challenge on the top end AND Intel eating away at Nvidia's entry level, even then it wouldnt surprise me if Nvidia just bows out altogether the moment they determine the AI rush is a long term thing (regardless of if that hypothetical is true or not). Intel ironically enough might become the most interesting thing in the market. Something's gotta give, no more SLI fun, no more vbios mods, restricted performance, no top end options. You need a soldering iron and SOC knowledge to have any fun 😞
  10. Well even though MSI as a company sometimes seems to appear morally bankrupt, they are a huge player. If that (let's say hypothetical) happens, I wonder if msi would attempt to muscle their way around Nvidia / AMD's restrictive policies. The only thing worse would be msi kingpin cards that end up sucking.
  11. Is kingpin moving to another board partner or just retiring from the arena altogether?
  12. Its just what I would get, cant say its perfect for you since keyboards have more subjective impressions than other tech. The one drawback is I think it still uses USB Mini, I havent had much issue it on my Pok3r board but its a turn off for some.
  13. I'd get a FC980M instead, but thats because that looks like its marketed to a different crowd than I.
  14. Last time I was using it full time it couldnt hold 4.2Ghz any longer, I was doing 4.0Ghz for a while and then it was shelved after I started playing with the 10850K. So far its running XMP just fine with the updated BIOS, just going to run the benchmarks without any manual setup. I suppose I could always re-flash the BIOS though, shouldnt cause any harm.
  15. Well I may have finally resolved an issue I was having with my Aorus ITX x570 board, it appeared to be not retaining the BIOS settings after every reboot. Which makes it difficult to get the memory to run at XMP. Read a few places that simply reseating the cable may help, but long term I should probably buy a replacement CMOS battery. If I had to guess the CPU is either quite degraded from running at 4.2Ghz for the majority of its service or the updated BIOS is not as forgiving. I guess it will be a "stock vs stock" scenario for it and the 5800X3D.
  16. Apple, Google and Microsoft point out exploits in each others products on the daily, its unfortunate that the minute a face is attached it becomes pitchforks, conspiracies and gross displays of tribalism. Hopefully the output levels of LMG either lessen or they hire additional staff to maintain the output they had along with having improved accuracy on their content.
  17. Bro rumor has it that the last applicant took nearly 8 months to vet and now years of training! Wish you the best of luck dude but pretty sure he's locked in. :P
  18. If there was a lot of subjectivity and character assassination to hype up the train I would agree. I don't see that here in this instance. I can definitely understand the cynicism given the space this is all taking place in and definitely open to evidence to support the contrary. That all being said, regardless of self interest of those involved I don't think a private conversation would've prompted moving the needle in the way it has right now. They have admitted to being aware of the issues and trying to mitigate, develop processes in real time to resolve. We also have no idea if anyone at all has already reached out privately, though any admission of that at this point in time would only be seen as a grift. Probably deservedly so, to be fair. LMG is now going to take some time off of output in order to identify issues in how they handle things. Sadly it's not something that a week off can fix since a lot of that is trial and error + experience but it's a great sign. Now the follow up is what remains. @jaybee83 saw that come up as well. I'm very reluctant to lay an opinion on that one way or the other due to the timing and nature of it all. That is coming from someone who is abused at work almost regularly, and also aware that HR is not there to protect any employee, ever. I don't know her, nor anyone at LMG so it would all be heresay. Unless she recorded any of that or has receipts its he said/she said. That all being said I hope all parties can overcome their difficulties and be better organizations as a result as that should in turn mean a better product for us, the consumers.
  19. That fellows post is quite fair, and GN's video is in that same vein in my opinion. The whole opportunist mindset to dogpile the group that seems to be in the wrong isnt constructive, but sadly expected given the nature of people. The point is to be critical, but not to destroy LMG. Steve has made videos that could be seen that way. Like with the PSU's from Gigabyte or flaming PC Cases, but despite the length of the video its still quite reserved. There was no skit burying a LMG logo in the backyard or anything like that. The response seems to be more focused on the Billet Labs situation, but it was not the main focus of criticism. Though if I had to take a step back and think on it, its probably because that situation holds the largest legal ramifications where as bad data on reviews would just erode their own market over time.
  20. It will likely hurt GN initially, simply from the fanbase differential but I expect as long as GN (and not just Steve, of course) maintains their principles then they can stand the test of time. If you think about it from another perspective even if GN then makes a mistake in the future, corrects it and republish then it becomes a swipe at LMG, assuming LMG doesnt take stock of the message conveyed and continues this initial mentality. Thats what I think will be the unfortunate cost of this video. I used HUB when I was looking at the Aorus 40" 4k 120hz panel, it was very informative but also since I was seriously considering purchase at the time I also looked at some other techtubers (albeit smaller) and a couple of standard article based reviews, but HUB is where I started. Seems to be there niche? It was well done, came away learning about lighting zones, how HDR actually works, the bandwidth limitation of the actual HDMI port, BGR vs RGB. I also check them out for GPU/CPU reviews as well even if GN is where I start, I like there content as well. I think that is fair. LMG can buy the equipment and the space to do more empirical / data driven types of reviews, but you cant buy experience. You can hire those that have the experience, of course, but you cant throw money at an employee and expect accurate results right off the first draft. Especially so on the type of video assembly line that LMG currently operates under. Obviously for the "most part" that methodology works fine for them but perhaps they need to have different timelines for each genre/category of LMG. That last comment is nonsense. The equipment is bought and obviously the floor space as well as personnel. Now they just need to build the experience, as, in this "space" they just need to be humble and engage in some serious kaizen. Its probably a breath of fresh air for a lot of US viewers, been alot of hum drum a singular topic that is getting really tired of late (to me, at least).
  21. GN's video was pointing a lot of flaws but it was still quite professional in nature and easily could've been an easy way for LTT to just accept the L, and improve. Both parties would've been better for it. Sadly, Linus doesn't seem able to look at the bigger picture (quite possibly by nature of his work environment), instead taking it personally. The reason GN is reporting on it, is mostly due to LTT touting their test lab as an empirical data driven location for their reviews, which is not their usual domain. There's bound to be growing pains, but unfortunately and/or fortunately they were already chest beating against HUB and GN. Thus, here we are lol
