30 usd for an sli cable may seem high but the gtx 280's were free. Should hopefully get some gtx 690 SLI this weekend. No idea if 280's will play nice with windows 10 lol -

I assumed you were talking about Plex for transcoding. Plex is like Steam works pretty darn well out of the box but it when it doesnt its a huge head ache lol I used Jellyin before when Plex switched their agent for Anime and broke everything on my server. JellyFin works really well but it had a huge problem of not loading subtitles on Android unless you start, stop, rewind and play again. Otherwise was great for me when I tried out it last. -

I was mildly irritated that GPU transcoding requires a subscription/membership :( May look to try JellyFin again, worked pretty well for what it was. -
Asus ROG Zephyrus G14 as replacement for Dell XPS 15 9550?
Reciever replied to serpro69's topic in What Laptop Should I Buy?
Warranty service is relative. Dell have been having a heck of a time with failing G5/G7 without as so much as a theory for the cause. Even my boss had the same issue for his son's laptop. Turn it off one day and never comes back to life and we are a business partner to Dell, still sitting on his desk as he hasn't been able to get it refunded or warranty service. That being said you'll find horror stories where ever you look. -
Me and my group used to play COH2 pretty often for a while. Some of the mod maps were fun too 🙂

Never thought of that, its obvious its almost a life hack.

That reminds me I need to buy some bridges again, last batch never made it to the house. Found someone local that has one, and a pair of GTX 280's for 30 bucks. Gonna pick it up and go take a peak at Microcenter on Friday. -
Please god no, as much as i love telling me people no at work, its annoying when its tell them the same thing a dozen times an hour. (For having not seen the SuperBowl)

Bingo. As previously stated, using swear words is in my view, lazy. You can achieve much more by articulating your intended message. Often times, you will get much more meaningful engagement as a result. @ryan The reason why you feel like you are always getting your hand slapped is because of the great frequency to which you ignore the rules. I go through great efforts to clean up your posts, merging them, or deleting posts that you could've hidden yourself (as all members have the ability to hide their own material). So I let you know when I have to make those changes but sadly, you dont seem to reflect and continue as usual. -
I had used that in the past with an HP t630 and for what its worth it did pretty good. There was some oddities in the behavior but was pleasantly surprised

I still havent been able to get the second drive writable and as a result havent used the PC pretty much at all. Drive is located /dev/sdb1 but terminal says its not a directory. Tried a few guides but none of them worked. Guess I'll look for another distro, Im an idiot, but this seems to be unusable.

I will follow up via PM so as to not encourage derailment Really depends on surrounding locale and its culture. -
Pretty much every place I worked at I was very open about job hunting; wasn't flaunting more of a chance for them to find a replacement. From what I hear leaving a company is much more hostile than in pretty much any other country where 1-3 months is the time for notice of departure where as here in the US its only two weeks and often shown the door the day of submitting notice. Disorganization around Tech is much less structured than I would like to see, mostly because a lot of companies don't have procedures in place, and if so don't enforce them. Couple that with an abused salary structure and Tech generally becomes a regrettable choice in the moment.

Technically, that was with us as well lol Luckily the previous Super Moderator was able to convince TechTarget to bring back the forum for a week to give us a chance to "decide where we go". -

At some point I will need to replace what I have, I am concerned this synthetic trend will still be in place when that time approaches. -
Windows decided it needed my attention screwing with my mouse, so I didnt get too much time with it today, but Ace Combat 7 worked straight out of the box, no tweaks or anything needed. Going to try my PS4 controller next and see if it plays nice or not, even Windows typically works better with DS4Windows.exe (at least in my experience) I'll try your commands in a bit, I would love to try things like Horizon: Zero Dawn, Monster Hunter World and MGSV:TPP controller works via USB, havent tried anything wireless yet. Even if Steams reasons werent selfless, the result is great thus far.
