  1. Hey thanks for sharing, anything I should know in regards to the flashing or is it "plug and play" since its just going from one 3090 to another? I was only able to pull about 450w from the 3090 on the EVGA OC vBIOS. Read on their forums that it should be 500w after a certain point. Power limit seems to be 119 on mine which I think means it already has that vBIOS (not the provided, but the EVGA iteration). Honestly shouldve done this a while back, I've been in a state of high functioning depression. Benching this week is giving me something to do and I owe much to Prema for all his work over the years.
  2. Its a solid remake but I dont see it justifying the price tag Oddly this will likely outsell the callisto protocol, havent been hearing anything good about that title.
  3. Must be light, this system has largely been unused up until this week. Temps are good, otherwise I wouldnt be able to hold 130w on an air cooler 🙂 Not setting any records but am getting some points I think I also have Vega 56, GTX 970, GTX 295, HD 5970, HD 4870x2, RTX 3080, GTX 1070. I could probably go back and re-run the 5700xt stuff, I have 5 of them to test for best performance but that will be much more time consuming.
  4. Right there with ya! Blanket and heating pad already engaged lol no case here so technically ahea dof you there.
  5. Taking advantage of Snow Week here in DFW. Time to get us some points for TeamPrema With all that being said, I dont have fancy cooling, all air, so my window is open to keep the temps low. Any vBIOS I can flash for my EVGA RTX 3090? Non KingPin
  6. It helps our search engine and also to be brought up on external search engines like google.
  7. tl;dr hwbot is a pain. https://hwbot.org/submission/5188060_reciever_3dmark___fire_strike_geforce_gtx_690_13587_marks?recalculate=true Bumped it up to 17th https://hwbot.org/submission/5188063_reciever_3dmark___fire_strike_extreme_geforce_gtx_690_6859_marks?recalculate=true Hit 18th.
  8. Thank you both, that did the trick. I just did a simple cut and paste no idea why hwbot would throw such a fit over it. Looks like single 690 will be pretty far reaching since this is just an aftermarket cooler but it took 20th, it seems there are less results for 2x 690. Here I am without an SLI bridge. Tried to enable in the nvidia control panel but the scores are the same.
  9. Bingo, I think I saved it as PNG, I'll re-save as JPG and reupload Nope, same thing.
  10. I cant seem to get any submissions in, keeps saying I need a verification link? I assume its this? https://www.3dmark.com/3dm/88251389? I think I did everything correctly, turns out Im probably a bit of an idiot, who knew?
  11. Like stated several times now, take it to PM. Instead you complain to essentially anyone else that will listen except for the person you have an issue with. Any further posts on this matter will be deleted.
  12. Haven't seen iunlock, Phoenix tried to make his own NBR but the techs screwed up and he lost all the effort and gave up shortly after, haven't seen him on the forum yet. Both are welcome of course! Prema has an account but doesn't post a whole lot, he did drop by to say Hi though :)
  13. Alas, the last mystery in the world unveiled!
  14. Oh! A books thread! Could almost have a forum on that alone lol My favorite fiction probably has to be The Legend of Drizz't. Gave me a love of adventures in fiction and also tempered how I think about things instead of merely reacting to them. I am quite thankful to Salvatore for writing that series. Haven't read anything in some time but probably read up to volume X and completed some of the side stories.
  15. Good, that means we got at least another 60 years of overclocking outta you, 70 if we fine tune the FSB. It's always nice to be appreciated, though I imagine I will brush against everyone at some point. :D It's not like we have to worry about advertisers or corporate interests, so we have the freedom to judge each post in context and on the merits. Some of the mods also gave me some pointers as I made a few mistakes in engaging criticism early on. Very thankful they are willing to help in their spare time as well as @Hiew for basically dropping all free time he had to build up the forum. We just recently hit our 1 year milestone! I don't like how everything has become so tribal in discussions on various topics. It's tedious and labor intensive but I'm willing to walk that line in the hopes that the conversations that take place hold some value for those involved and those that witness it. My only fear is I don't know how long I can sustain that type of moderation if this forum were to continue growing, but for now and the perceivable future it is my intent.
  16. Happy Birthday Fox! How many years young are ya this time around?
  17. In other news, I get a good lol from these satire posts
  18. Correct me if I'm wrong but one of the other points for Tesla last I read was that the batteries could operate at a wider range of temperature than the competition. I haven't kept up on EV stuff though. Honestly after being rear ended 3 times in 3 years I got an rsx with a greddy exhaust and k24a with strobing led 3rd brake light. Strobing lights are annoying but between that and a loud as heck exhaust should improve my chances to make it another year without a rear end "accident"
  19. Sometimes passions just get the better of people in the moment, it happens. I don't think any less or more of our members when that happens though I can only hope that they reflect and abide by our wishes. The grand architect for the forum is my good friend @Hiew all I did was stake my reputation and present this forum for everyone to use, then hope for the best. It's been an interesting experience thus far, to say the least lol
  20. Laptops. Pricing aside is becoming harder to ignore, though thats not strictly the products fault. Many contributing factors.
  21. Everything is a lost cause in the mainstream market right now.
  22. A laptop with support for desktop cpu's and desktop GPU's would be fairly interesting actually
