  1. Idk, not a case for me, it is still better then the modern stuff you can buy, at least where I live right now. Even with all upgrades it is better than anything in it's price range + it is easy and nice to service it. Even in my situation I think that it was a good decision.
  2. Really? I have only seen one mention of T2000 being bought, and it was on this forum.
  3. That's good, even though my CPU fan was originally from AVC, my GPU fan is from Delta. Delta CPU fan (at least for me, idk) is not quieter, but the noise itself is much more tolerable, it doesn't have a high pitch, and you can really hear air pushing through a heatsink, so it won't disturb you during the night.
  4. Some updates (p.s. I hate this Beats logo shadow left from a previous owner)
  5. Ordered a Delta CPU fan for my M4800 recently, great stuff. Lithuanian shop on eBay that has those fans in stock - https://www.ebay.ie/itm/285018113824
  6. It is completely locked out, I think only VBIOS mod will help, but I don't remember anyone modifying a VBIOS on Turing GPUs
  7. I am not sure about that, VBIOS is locked from tweaking
  8. My top priority goal is to get a mutant i7 4980HQ
  9. https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005003366309487.html There it is, it is not available right now on a page, but you can ask the seller, that's how I got it
  10. Aliexpress
  11. That's a great idea, I agree, hopefully I will manage to find LA-9772P motherboard one day, because it is a budget build, I think the best way is to find someone who has a broken laptop, so I can get it for cheap (to rock that 120 Hz GSYNC display). I also think about replacing fans with some Delta fans.
  12. This is my daily driver, it went through a lot of stuff, I never used a laptop as a daily driver before. I've got it for cheap (200€), because the seller was open about damage that this laptop has (it is mostly cosmetic). Looks great too. UPDATE 13#: NVIDIA Geforce RTX 4060 is now installed and is working, gotta tame the 115W beast I have uploaded the VBIOS on TechPowerUp btw: https://www.techpowerup.com/vgabios/282439/282439
  13. Well, I am not really sure about it right now, because I haven't flashed it yet, even though I have a CH341. I am not really in a place where I can take apart this laptop completely, the BIOS chip is hidden on the lower portion of a motheboard, so it is not the easiest thing to get to. So I am trying to flash it internally, I will probably reach out today.
  14. I will try to do a BIOS mod soon, didn't have experience with Dell BIOS style, but I will try. I want to enable SPD write and Resizable BAR
  15. I remember one day someone was discussing a different heatsink option for this laptop, something from older Dell laptops, it was a CPU heatsink if I remember correctly. Do you know which one was that?
  16. Guys, do you think AMD heatsink can fit on T1000?
  17. That would be interesting. Thinking about it again — I will stick with T1000, because I am really on budget right now, so I am not allowed to take any risks.
  18. Heat output is not an issue as far as I know, it has a 50W and 75W versions, I would go with 50W. Yeah, that's where the fun starts, yeah. I wish anyone that someone tries to install it one day... Thinking about it, I will probably stick to T1000
  19. Tried to contact one company about a Quadro A2000 MXM, price is scary... Right now I can only see two options: ARC A380 6 GB (Nobody knows if it will even work) Quadro T1000
  20. Glad to hear that it helped. I have abandoned an idea of OC-ing this GPU for now, because it is performance for me is fine for the most part and OC doesn't change the fact that it is only 2 GB VRAM, so I can't play any demanding games. Looking forward to find this "rare artifact" named NVIDIA Quadro RTX A2000 MXM-A
  21. I have decided to experiment with my M5100, but any changes to VBIOS would ruin UEFI and signature... at least I thought so. There is a small program named "GOPUPD" that can update signature and add UEFI back to VBIOS. Look it up on Google. "lordkag's GOPUPD"
  22. For some reason my fans never stop after they turn on under a load, even with Dell Fan Management
