  1. This is my daily driver, it went through a lot of stuff, I never used a laptop as a daily driver before. I've got it for cheap (200€), because the seller was open about damage that this laptop has (it is mostly cosmetic). 2. Well, I am not really sure about it right now, because I haven't flashed it yet, even though I have a CH341. I am not really in a place where I can take apart this laptop completely, the BIOS chip is hidden on the lower portion of a motheboard, so it is not the easiest thing to get to. So I am trying to flash it internally, I will probably reach out today.
  3. I will try to do a BIOS mod soon, didn't have experience with Dell BIOS style, but I will try. I want to enable SPD write and Resizable BAR
  4. I remember one day someone was discussing a different heatsink option for this laptop, something from older Dell laptops, it was a CPU heatsink if I remember correctly. Do you know which one was that?
  5. That would be interesting. Thinking about it again — I will stick with T1000, because I am really on budget right now, so I am not allowed to take any risks.
  6. Heat output is not an issue as far as I know, it has a 50W and 75W versions, I would go with 50W. Yeah, that's where the fun starts, yeah. I wish anyone that someone tries to install it one day... Thinking about it, I will probably stick to T1000
  7. Tried to contact one company about a Quadro A2000 MXM, price is scary... Right now I can only see two options: ARC A380 6 GB (Nobody knows if it will even work) Quadro T1000
  8. Glad to hear that it helped. I have abandoned an idea of OC-ing this GPU for now, because it is performance for me is fine for the most part and OC doesn't change the fact that it is only 2 GB VRAM, so I can't play any demanding games. Looking forward to find this "rare artifact" named NVIDIA Quadro RTX A2000 MXM-A
  9. I have decided to experiment with my M5100, but any changes to VBIOS would ruin UEFI and signature... at least I thought so. There is a small program named "GOPUPD" that can update signature and add UEFI back to VBIOS. Look it up on Google. "lordkag's GOPUPD"
  10. For some reason my fans never stop after they turn on under a load, even with Dell Fan Management
  11. Torturing FirePro M5100 (that's what CP 2077 would probably look like if it came out on PS3.... EARLY MODELS 🗿)
  12. Tweaking CP 2077 even further I managed to squeeze out 30 FPS, now it is even more obvious that GPU is an issue here
  13. That's nice, I'll consider installing something like a Gelid Extreme thermal pads. About Cyberpunk — tried to mess around with game settings, runs at 15 FPS, but input lag is completely fine, so I think that CPU is doing ok with that game and GPU isn't (still on FirePro M5100, modded driver).
  14. What kind of thermal pads are used to install T1000 on an AMD heatsink? I mean in mm (0,5 mm , 1 mm , etc.) I am just preparing, because I will probably have to buy new ones (Why not)
  15. Did anyone try to play CP 2077 on T1000 (on this laptop)? 😆
  16. Hey guys, do you have any issues with microphone on this laptop? Sometimes it is gone from the list of devices, just randomly
  17. I wanted to ask — will T1000 work with my LVDS panel? Using Hybrid graphics, ofc.
  18. Laptop is completely fine, I was lucky that my adapter has a fuse in it, it literally shocked me, my fingers were completely black because plastic partially melted and a smell was horrible. Those were bad news. Good news — battery has arrived, works fine, 97 Whr
  19. I have received Anshu GaN+Sic charger today. First impression......... Well...... It just died after a FIRST try, I was lucky that I had an adapter with a fuse in it.
