  1. Yep I know, the G15 has a 115+15w 3060 its boosting to 1900-2000mhz on core. Its doing 65C at full load
  2. HI Guys! Im thinking about that what aspect makes the 3060 weaker than the 2080. If we look into the 2 GPU-s specs it can clearly see that the 3060 should be more powerful that the 2080 . Some specs: RTX 2080 has 2944 cuda cores VS RTX 3060 has 3840 RTX 2080 core freq 16-1700mhz VS RTX 3060 17-1800mhz The only thing that the 2080 is better is 256bit bus VS 196 bit bus. But if we compare to the 4050 , it has 96 bit bus 2560 cuda cores and same performance as the 2080. Where Nvidia plays with performance ? Its makes no sense with these specs....
  3. If you fold the lid, the cable in the hinge are twisting. If the twisting occours too much times, the lcd cable can broke there. If you open or close the lid a litle, you may see its going back to normal or it get worst. If thats the case you need to replace the lcd cable. If folding the lid dosnt help you have a broken screen.
  4. Its broke at there, of You fold the screen more out őr in its gets better or worse?
  5. Thats the narrow 40 pin lcd cable, and the IGZO screen. It could be bad at the hinge .
  6. Only the LQ156D1JW04 is an IGZO screen, it has a special narrow 40 pin connector. If you have the normal 40 pin connector cable, You could go with frameless LCD panels also, just use double side tape to hold it in place. This gives You a great selection of displays like 4 K oled and 4k 144hz Mini LED displays at 15.6" size, and 4k 144hz Mini LED display for 17.3" screen size. They are working, only known problem is you may have a chance to loose display brightness lowering. I did upgraded my Dell G15 with a QHD 165hz 100% DCI-P3 screen from the FHD 120hz 40% DCI-P3.
  7. As long as You go with a normal 4k screen , the 40pin cable is okay, but if You want IGZO screen it has its own display cable.
  8. Get a 9700T or 9900T and Dsanke bios, or just simply disable turbo boost. Before I installed Dsanke I disabled turbo boost on my 9900nonK cpu and it was 50-60C at load with barely spinning fans . After that i set the power limit to 60/70 W and it had good performance and fairly cool 2.
  9. Ive managed to get a G15 5515 ryzen edition Silver. The laptop is over 1 years old, and its already throttling on CPU side, the factory 120hz FHD screen has terrible colors (45% srgb) . Positive about the laptop: Fanless idle operation, AWCC working without any AW product, high performance mode as the AW laptops, good quality (dont know if the previus owner was carefull, but no scratches, no erosion on plastic). My plan is to get a QHD 165Hz 100DCI-P3 screen for it NV156FHM-N4U , its a very usable laptop , the factory 2230 M2 nvme can be replaced with 2280 by mooving the securing metal,so it has 1.5TB SSD .
  10. Hi want to check if i priced it correctly , specs: I9-9900 nonK 2X8 GB 2666mhz Ballistix + 2X8 GB Corsair Vengeance 3000mhz RTX 2080 4K IGZO screen 100%srgb 500GB Nvme Intel SSD+ 1TB HDD Charger 330W Unlocked bios Box, flatclicker (mouspad) by XMG never been used, Schenker pendrive with drivers, manual ,stickers , XMG neckleace . The price what i think ist worth is around 900 Eur .
  11. My P751TM , was used with FHD 144hz/QHD 120HZ panel , then i birnged my 4k igzo+cable and worked instantly. I used the 4k lcd and cable in a P751DM2 and worked there 2. So if you already have a 40pin edp cable ,then only slim panels with 4 mounting flaps will work to able to secure the lcd .
  12. Device manager Select gpu, properties hardware information and search for 10DE_1028_13D*_**** Download Nvidia driver, unpack it with winrar Navigate tondisplay driver and select nvdmig.inf At the bottom search for GTX 980M Select the closest one with your ID Example like 13D7_0445 this is yours, and in the file there is 13D7_0465 the. Edit it to 0445 , and go to the top and Edit all 13D7_0465 to your ID. If you are done , Hold down left shift and select restart, reatart it with signature force turned off, install and enjoy.
  13. im searching for 4k displays but they are around 230-240 eur 😞
  14. You are not far ffrom me , Hungary 😄
  15. cuz the cpu has one X16 connection , and in the P870 its halfed between the 2 slots.
  16. for now u use ADT mxm to pcie adapter, the gpu is outside from the laptop, im thinking about to built in dekstop gpu inside the laptop.
  17. Did you find LCD for the P775 or still looking for one ?
  18. So as its seems now -You sucsessfully converted the AUX power to 2x8pin(or HPWR 12pin) The last thing is to do a spacer for the desktop card and a costume heatsink with dual fans, then a costum bottom cover , and boom you fitted a destop GPU in any P870 machine in a portable no disassembly reqiued way.
  19. Good to know we can link pictures from other place, probably my G-Drive is in same case, 15gb is almost full.
  20. As i can see and understand, You are using the AUX power cable to provide juice to the desktop gpu. What wattage can you draw from it ? Are You using the Eurocom 780W power supply or dual 330W with Y splitter/coupler ?
  21. Click on Your name --> My Attachment and then delete some of them to free up some space.
