Hi! I will be able to get my hands on an P771ZM with I5 4690k and a 980m 8gb and IPS panel with edp cable. My question is that if im able to buy a Quadro P3000 , the quadro mxm has a built in edp output ? (compared to the Firepro S7100X, witch dont have display output chips).

I searched at the old nbr forum archive and im gonna skip ES cpu-s , porbably im gonna leave the i9 9900 in the tm, at here the non K i9 is very rare. ES cpu-s may have bugs, removed features, beside the lower cpu clck speed it can be unlocled or not. It can be unstable.

Thanks, nos something similar: QN8G cpu , 8700k ES sample should work also, when i was ownd a 870km i got It from clevo with a i5 7500 ES cpu, i assume in the 751tm the 8700k es will work( im gonna trade in the dm2 for a tm1 with an rtx 2080 and an i9 9900 non K , but probably i will sell the i9).

Yes without the igpu function .So , if i get an 9600kf, 9700kf 9700f cpu it will work in a p751tm1.

Im not planning playing max settingswith AAA games , just the current games to rum better at 4k. Nothing serius, WoT, Genshin, Insurgency. I did the 4k upgrade for movies ,yt, and for these games. It came to me, i was not directly searchd for it. Probably gonna go with 9600k or 8700k, and a 2070 .

I talked about a technician , I bring to him my laptops for repaste or any other kind of work, He managed to find out that the 1060 pcb is has the same vrm parts as the 1080, thats why its consuming more power. The VRM is overpowered for the 1060 , and this makes it very tough card , like the old GTX 880M. My plan is to replace the 1060 to something that capable for the 4K screen, any advise?

Hi, im wondering what the hell is eating 40W power on the Clevo 3.1 1060 GPU. GPU card power draw 91.1 Chip power draw is 51.1W. And not im the only one who has this mystery, every 1060 is suffered from this. Say that the memorys using 1-2 W per chip then its Maximum 12 W , best scenario that 20W is heating the heatsink for nothing.

Its version 1.0 , the cables where now properly managged and the box was removed, a switch was glued to the base of the cooler.

Ive manager to get an unlocked bios , but this happend. It still works , but a litle bit fustrating.

Hi, im fighting with a 0nc GT70 , theres no mxm card in the laptop and the fans are in panic mode, spinning at 100% all the time . How can i get them working normally without an mxm card?

My Friend who has an M15 , he can use the AGA card and dgpu at the same time , dont know why Dell done this .... If i have to change the 13 r3 to a better cpu maybe im gonna go with an Area 51m R2 . As i know , the cpu has a vapor heatsink , and still have gfx connector .

I didn't see any problems with the 3060Ti , dont need to plug or unplug the cable during post. But Dell's made a wierd thing: while the AGA is connected (no matter what gpu is in) its disabling the dGPU on the laptop, i didnt apper in device managger. If i remove the AGA the 1060 works. If i press i/d gfx it shows that is not supperted while the AGA is connected.

Yes , I realised that . Today i have traded the 5700xt for a 3060ti , at superposition 1080p extreme i gained almost +50% at the score. 5053--->7173

Maybe you shoud try an unlocked bios for it if its exist, other than that is should be a plug and play upgrade, AW 17 , Clevo series just work fine with pascal series with both edp and optimus method . Or try an msi 1070 from a never modell maybe the heatsink are compatible . https://www.nbrchive.net/xfa/msi.1015/GT72S 6QE 980m upgrade to 1070/ yep its kind of working i think they used the msi 10 series and they mention that You need to use the gt72vr gpu heatsink. 1060 is okay but they found some bugs with the 1070 mostly with external display at startup.

I've had a very stupid idea. Its mind blowing! Our community forum, i've saw a GT80 titan sli. Now, we talked about it, and a guy who use an mxm pcie egpu methood sayd that with that (im gonna assume He's joking) He can use sli egpu's . My idea is that now the AGA is connected and have a TB3 slot, if i go get a TB3 egpu case i can make sli/cf ??

I did a p3000 upgrade on my 17 as well and then a p3200 , my temps never go above 55C with minimal fans, so your almost 70C is very high. -
Thakns, what i need to plug? AGA cable or the aga power cable? Thanks , thats good news! witch cooling solution cards was tested in the AGA? How easy to fit them inside?

Hi, i've decided to go with egpu instead of MXM , because MXM is end of life unfortunetly. But the Alienware and graphics amplifier are still working in 2023. My goal was a fairly cheap setup with the possible highest perfomance that i can get with fairly cheap. So the basic machine is the 13 R3 with I7-6700HQ , 1060 mobile , 16gb 2333 mhhz ram , 2x512gb SSD , FHD display ( i missed the qhd oled 😞 ) . I have read that AGA only support 20XX and RX 4XX/5XX , some of the retail coolers will fit , but 3 slots are not , watercooling is not and option unless you cut the AGA. So i decided to go with a reference 5700XT , someone says its not gonna work because of the pcie 4.0 support, someone says every gpu works as long as it fits. So i tryed my luck with a ref 5700xt and its works as it shoud be. From the AGA i removed the original very loud fan, still didnt replaced it so add that to the termals. The CPU got a liquid metal , the laptop has been previuosly upgraded with the 1070 3 pipe heatsink. Maybe further VGA-s will be tested as long as the budget goes. Starts right up, but untill you didnt intall the driver the card dosent give display(hdmi with a monitor ,no internal lcd was used). After driver install (no mods ,nothing needed to install) its works. The CPU goes 3.1GHZ allcore max 72C . A 3X 120mm vent modded Notepal u3 is under the 13R3 .

You can put pascal series cards to it without any problem, except for zotac card, the have different thermal sensor output, and they go emergency mode after sime time, but they giving screen and show life, planning to buy a p770zm, and have a p3200 . So my plan is to put the p3200 into the p770zm.
