My friend has able to test a M2 ultra , in geek bench and wildlife the m2 MBP has better performace then my clevo with i9 amd 2080. So i will keep my eyes on this thread. Its interesting how a 60w chip can outperform an i9 and 2080 . Single core geek 2813 multi core 14889 wildlife extreme 19905 I9 9900 (130w) single core 1702 multi core 7702 wildlife 19740 points. -
Or go to Apple ARM M series chip , 60w consume and get the same gpu performance as a stock mxm 2080. The cpu power is grater than the i9 .... If they managed to release the direct X support , then in the gaming bussiness will be completly broken.

With TB4 they managed to bypass the PCH and other interconnection, its directly wired to the cpu.

Itsan awesome work, but with Thunderbolt 5 everything will change in egpu gaming, "Thunderbolt 5 will deliver 80 gigabits per second (Gbps) of bi-directional bandwidth, and with Bandwidth Boost it will provide up to 120 Gbps" So its gonna do the same performance as the mxm egpu version, but didnt require any screwing or dissasembly.

Nvme slots using X4 speed , its very very bottleneck, and there is no solution in present days for dual Nvme slot Egpu case. Every egpu method (except TB ) has to be powered off to remove cabels and connectors . For sensors, the old MSI GT60/70 laptops there was unlocked bios for the empty mxm slot problem. Maybe someone will unlock it, or even Frameworks will add option to the bios .

Im not talking about laptop GPU , ive thinked about full size desktop GPU. Its not better then any gaming laptop if you put a laptop gpu in there . And it will have limitations at power delivery, but with the egpu enclosure you have only data transfer at the DGFF connector .

Is there any chance that someone will make an Egpu case for the Framework, like the Alienware Graphics Amplifier, or the Thunderbolt version? I know with the Pcie 3.0 X8 it has bottleneck at the connection, but with the 4.0 X8 is same as the 3.0 X16 , or im waiting for the TB5 release and EGPU .

Nice job! Im getting 10k with stock bios and no OC at 165W consume . Desktop 3060ti is the same gpu score with Alienware Graphics Amplifier ( Pcie X8 3.0) and 6700HQ cpu in a 13 R3 . Thinking about going back 😕 (sadly)

Here you can download the all Clevo unlocked Dsanke bios for all Clevo 6-7-8-9.th generation laptops . P7xxDMx_RTX.rom for only 8-9 gen cpu and RTX support and P7xxDMx.rom for 6-7 and 8-9 gen support as well but only gtx *support(it will work with RTX but you have to INF mod the driver ,tryed with a P750DM2-G and a 2080/3080) , but You have to isolate 2 pins on the 8-9 gen CPU otherwise the pins in the socket will melt and no more 6-7 gen support.

Dont have the laptop anymore , but with LVDS display it wont work cuz no intel HD .

You dont need to flash the EC, with the unlocked bios its come with it, and dont tune the voltage only the freq. Try that.

Hi, if you have dsanke unlocked bios installed, buy a 8 core 9700 non K / T / K or 9900 non K / T / K cpu and set the tdp limit + core speed like me for lower heat and noise. Or just disable turbo boost , and will go at stock speed on all cores. 9700T and 9900T has lower TDP by factory.

Your 4k lcd is 40pin edp, if You want 1080 30pin you have to fully dissasemble the laptop ( remove palmrest).

Maybe .... Gpu usage 100% d3d usage 100% but its showing 450/300 core /memory freq. Enduro dosnt switch properly? Maybe Enduro is bad:Enduro last supported version is 2019. ill will advise to check this and i will report back. Verdict! : the 210W power supply is not enough, with the 240w psu everything works well, its boosting to 900/1250mhz. He wisited me at my techinician/laptop guru friend , we tested with a 240w psu and its instantly boosted .

The 4 32gb sticks are the same brand and same speed? Btw for factory specs P870km supports 64gb ram max.

Probably you downloaded , or installed something that windows dont like. A reinstall will help 100%. -
I advised him to get a gpu-z and check perf.cap reason.

So, another charger and still the cards is staying at 450mhz core , brand new battery, fresh windows amd drivers, and still no luck, how the hell can it work at half performance but the games graphics are ok, no fragments or stripes on the screen.

It has been tested with diagnostics and no error came back.

Brand new battery and still 450mhz at load. I thinking about some power settings, or the charger . Its giving good display no fragments or artifacts, no lines on load its just in low power limit, vbios is stock original. The worst os that ive sold the laptop and the buyer have problem with it.

The gpu running at 450mhz instead of 900mhz,its a litle bit fustrating but its as is.
