I installed the rampage trainer and I guess a lot of the mods I had in there actually need it to work, at least 1907 austin works now which is a nice fleshing out of that area especially Armadillo which is full of people and not a zombie ghost town now. I think Vestigia works now so more variety overall. I'm not sure if Ambient Gangs works now noticed an ambush with "strangers" and more Del Lobos around NA then before, have to explore other parts of the world to confirm. Moonshiners still crashes so that's gone. But yeah Rampage has a way to disable the horse cores which is nice, a much larger teleport menu than Lennys Simple Trainer had. Good way to see lots of places missed quickly, caves, mexico, the macabre places, can teleport to each rock drawing, even mark where dino bones are etc All sorts of interesting options. Think I've got a few dozen solid working mods now and can load up my ch.2 ultimate save I got off nexus.

Yeah didn't mean to sound harsh there but the naming format is just a sideline. I was just pointing out that I really didn't notice a difference from a 1080p 40" tv w 1080p content and a 4k tv with Xk content. I'm not actually sure if it was 1080p or 4k stuff, since parents are def in a small market I'm guessing redbox bds are 1080p not 4k and I'm also guessing streamed tv-,(College bowls/some nba), via the espn app is not 4k either. He got a 1 month sub just for the bowl season not sure if they broadcast in 4k there but like I said the whole time no matter what we were watching it did not wow me at all. Of course matters little since 4k tvs are similar pricing as 1080p was, and 1080p TVs at lower prices are getting hard to find, have to go off brand or used almost. Decreasing gains though, reading around looks like most content is not 4k, true 4k, and 8k is probably not going to be any different. Maybe they'll push through some really exotic thing like raytracing/nvidia to justify the cost and minimal difference, maybe the upscaling like DLSS would be a differentiator who knows. Snake Oil world now really. edit: even espn didn't do 4k, but it says the championship game was which we did watch, didn't stand out at all no wow factor. https://tvanswerman.com/2022/12/18/will-espn-show-college-footballs-championship-game-in-4k-what-about-other-bowl-games/

Minority Report was a short story by pkd which is actually much more interesting than the movie that took it's base from. Androids Dream ends a lot different from bladerunner and is almost completely different and more interesting as well. The man in the high castle is freaky, pkd betrays his real background pretty clearly in this and also in most of his books with the slang, his books are a form of propaganda like most "science" fiction. For instance Heinlein was navy/oni, and a whole generation of them just showed up in publishing. This is similar to L Ron Hubbard who was navy/oni and the scifi genre turning it into a skewed reality that live humans believe is real. Similar to Jack Parsons/JPL occultists.

As an update I see there are THREE versions of DLSS2 v3.1.1 now. The latest being from Atomic Heart. Should have just stayed with the 2.xxxx, (2.999 all available) designation imo for less confusion with DLSS3-FG.

Played their previous game, The Forest, and it was ok, definitely had the creepy thing down pat and exploration was pretty interesting. Mysterious for sure with little hand holding. I'm not really much on survival sims though. From what I remember their games are typical indy not well optimized but I guess everyone here has the equipment. I don't believe the 2mil sold in 24hrs bs the dev put out there with no proof though, just a marketing strategy imo Looks like just another version of The Forest and is still early access.

Amazes me how much content there is in RDR2. I picked up my epilogue save after getting micah etc and there's the evelyn miller-henry david thoreau sideline, marko dravik-Tesla, the otis hinton hillbilly butcher creek, the Veteran Buelle horse one guess I didn't get to these during the campaign, the Guagin artist CC one, etc And the filler 100% OCD stuff like hunting, rock drawings/sinclair mystery, Dino bones, plant guy, murder whore in valentine, etc Tons of scripts in this game. I just wish this had color saturation and adjustment in game(and vignette disabler) since it looks washed out a lot not doing a reshade. Stuck in Contracts which is nice here and there and the Bounties expanded another one. Dynamic weather got to winter finally and it was gorgeous to see snow all over the map not just the prologue mountains area. And of course the old RDR1 area not much there to do, guess that's for online play what a waste.

Been a while since I played 4 either, I still have the physical discs for EFLC both DLCs lol Yeah not the best optimized I stuck with 107 rather than the complete version because for the complete you have to start each dlc w a separate exe kinda dumb. Why they didn't make it organic in game w one exe is crazy. Now there's a title that could use just a lite refresh for modern equipment, heck they could (and probably would) just steal a few mods and be done. Just not quite as easy to use GUI imo and needs a reshade of some sort, this game is what got me off of reshades though, installed one and it bricked my install and even after I went through and systematically deleted the reshade still bricked it, thankfully 4 main story is only like 18gb. No way I'm trying reshade with 50gb+ games. CP77 thankfully has a few NON reshade adjustments to the games LUT file to get a nice clean de-greenized look. RDR2 does not have similar options available though, washed out looking a lot of the time, blurry TAA, etc

Idk I just can't see the whole red/blue BS and their narratives on both sides, they all part of the same Misch mafia just working the script from different angles imo. I'm NOT sorry but perversion is perversion and I'm not going to call it "good" w regards to other stuff, how the hell do you think we got to this dung pile of a world? It was go along to get along and the insanity and demonic manipulation of things like "love is love", that's abuse and using language as a weapon. I think Bolsheviks are much more accurate than some flash in the pan movement who ALSO had the word "Socialist" in their name. Who do you think are the real zombies?

Yeah for sure, just not the same standout, an avalanche of quality games out there and not much is better than 5 open world crime simulator really. I mean other than story, locale etc they pretty much have perfected the 3d open world game on a 2d screen, idk if they have VR but what pyscho wants GTA VR or really any crime/macabre type of game. It's just a variation on it with better graphics added onto it. It can be mostly done but the polishing and such could take a year or two, not mutually exclusive. Here's hoping they do similar to RDR2 Online which is separate and really GaaS based, can skip that altogether and just do the SP story. 4 was great because it was a gritty dark story and also had some SP DLC, doubt we'll get any real DLC in the online GaaS age.

Yeah cemu one of the best ones, I could never get into botw though too cartoony but not like the newer/3d mario cartoony which is fun, maybe too much realism in there and not indication of where to go next etc Didn't find the world too exciting either. I think I grabbed it for yoshis woolly world which I have on 3DS works great and looks way better.

First story mission, looks good. I'm into other things right now but later on may pick it up, I'm really into the offline skirmishes w player made maps and that needs some time to develop. Maybe give 2 another try but still love 1, it's kinda like my solitaire just something to do while watching tv etc works great.- 5 replies

A lot of people think vice city was the best one of the first 3d trilogy, it certainly did have the music and references there and main character was voiced by ray liotta with other celeb voices, which 3 didn't have at all, an appearance by a trump figure etc It's better than gta3 but San Andreas the best of that trilogy imo. Vice City did have the best soundtrack though, 80s music. I kind of liken it to the whole fallout popular opinion, Everyone says FNV is the best and it's good but so is FO3 and FO4 is put down which I played the most by far, most modern and easiest to pick up my fav of them with FNV second. I guess this is the final form of GTA, NYC--CA--S Florida in various orders. Three kinda awful places tbh and heavy tribester areas. I know that some of the smaller spinoffs had different locales though, seems like they could have done a London location pretty easily. Chicago fits in there too. Woulda been cool to have a whole game focused on SF or Vegas, like whole map just the city but REALLY detailed and packed with content like Yakuza locations esp Kamurocho. Unless 6 has a smaller stand alone SP I'm going to skip it, not interested in 200gb size that I can access 100gb of and the rest is for online or 4k textures I'm not going to use at all. I mean I bet 5 just the map and single player available stuff is a lot smaller than the whole thing bundled with forced online (and 4k textures) but locked in SP content. Rather just go through Vice City up to 5 replays or other games.

Yeah the lows on dx12 are about 10fps higher than vulcan but I get more stutter on dx12, since I limit it to 60fps and no vsync I usually stick to vulcan as it rarely goes to those low frames, at least in this modding phase and playing as John in the epilogue doing his non story missions and exploring. Eventually will load up my earliest manual save at like 25% so valentine area. Modding is a pain in RDR2, there's a lot but a lot have not been updated for a while and call out requirements like LML, various scripthooks, etc that have been updated so a lot of them don't work but don't crash the game either. I'm not big into lots of hotkeys etc for loading up new map stuff, just make it work in game automatically and naturally with the controls. Theres a lot of MX, 1907 Austin project, etc that require other mods that needs a lot of hotkeys to work etc My most used are =camp anywhere, really nice to find an amazing loc and be able to setup camp there instead of RS approved location a mile away. = Weapon locker at camp fires also essential. = Block horse auto holster. =Seats/leaning for bathroom breaks etc. = No cores a must but sadly is only for the players cores, have not found a working one for horse cores. =Open interiors. =Dark Nights. =A lot of this stuff is available ONLY on rdr2mods.com instead of Nexus, kind of a pain. Almost everything uses Lennys Mod Loader but it's only on the rdr2mods site, would have missed out on others like dark nights etc =Jobs mod get paid for train conducting, deliveries, mining, chopping wood, etc =Dynamic Seasons is just ok, seems like you can't change the length or it just stops it from changing, stuck with 10 real hours of each one. =I also use LST, Lennys Simple Trainer, pretty convenient for my offline SP only, love the game but due to time constraints I try to bother with as little filler(imo) as possible and this helps cut it out. The bodyguard spawning is nice for assaults, hunting skinners, etc Teleports to all over the map including Guarma. Saw the UFO for the first time since it has a teleport loc to what it calls the UFO cult cabin lol

Absolutely believe it, the game's too huge to not be mostly done just polishing up by now. It will be interesting to see what they do with the ATM called GTA-5-online though. I remember Techland was still adding things/events to DL1 until DL2 came out but that was never the open cash register that GTAO is. Worth it to them to keep actively going with it at a lower cost than 6 online? Maybe they stick to SP only for a few months in 6 then phase in online for that and phase out 5 online new content just maintenance.

Got the dreaded "unknown error: FFFFFF" firing up RDR2 and I'm pretty sure it has to do with changing multiple graphics settings that require restarting the game but not actually restarting immediately. How that's still needed by an old but still kinda new game like RDR2 is beyond me. I can think of maybe 2-3 games that require that out of hundreds. I'm pretty sure changing API's is also part of it so going back and forth between Vulcan/DX12 is even more of a pain beyond restart. I think RDR2 has almost too many graphics options and they're not too friendly to each other. Had to tear out some saves, copy some files from a control group of the games smaller files I had before modding. So this MIGHT be tied to modding as well. Anyways working fine now with about 12 mods installed, mostly QOL.

I wouldn't call it cooking but since I need to lose some weight, cut off the potato salad and went back to cabbage salad with avocado and italian dressing. Mix it all up in a bowl yummy stuff, sometimes stick some cold or warm chick pieces in there almost a complete meal.

Yeah I forgot emulation usually my go to when nothing sounds good, galaxy, 3dworld, smbworld, the 64 native windows version, smb3, I also have MGS3 ps2 etc etc

Yeah good point that guy was and is really weird, bug eyed and all. Bezos another one like that, atomic heart bot like.

yeah was watching it on yt seems a bit of a fallout-bioshock with some wolfenstein alternate history mixed in. Eh no thanks. I saw that it's on gamepass as well and if you are new can get the initial 1$ deal. Lately going through my NO uninstall games and came to the conclusion that I don't need any more games really, if I was to start new playthroughs of just what I have I'd be set for a year or more. Add on mods and even longer. I haven't even got to the Arkham series on another hdd. I rebooted ACorigins and had a blast just doing side stuff/exploring. And RDR2 mods are working good too, just wandering around as John post main story, it's kind of relaxing to do so. I don't do the hunting in this game as thehuntercow looks better and is more focused on that, less of a hassle than rdr2 hunting. Start another Hollow Knight, DL1, get back into uncharted legacy, WRC10, FH4, KCD, Control, Psychonauts 2, elden ring, TW3, Yakuzas(never finished 7 LAD) and man who needs more? I mean I'm still adding small mods like clothes, graffiti, custom cars to CP77 at this point lol

yeah, "down under" has a different meaning if you think about it, probably their meaning all along. But if you were paying attention biden has similar weirdos all over what is referred to as his admin, clowns on stage though reading a script that the clowns in the audience take as real. No different with either "side" of the game, deranged clowns in the "sales" positions universally worldwide. 2023=322, 10 years to 2033. To push people to what they want requires war/revolution and similar things like "pandemics" etc has since the 1600s in england up to today. They also just show variations in their games as another angle, atomic heart, wolfenstein, cp77, Fallout, etc etc

Simple games hardest to master, even though my grandpa was pretty good at pool I suck at it, we even had a pool table in the basement when I was a kid.
