just just bought a dell latitude 7400 for 510 after shipping/tax here in canada. and I am excited to get it, I bought it due to its 21 hours battery life and at 500 a 512gb ssd and 16gb should be enough as i'll just be using it for chess/pool/geforce now. hopefully it will last the 11 hours of web surfing every says. so yeah very excited Anyone know anything about it that they want to share? gripes? praises?

Dell Latitude 7400 Laptop 14 - Intel Core i7 8th Gen - i7-8665U - Dual Core 4.8Ghz - 512GB SSD - 16GB RAM - 1920x1080 FHD - Windows 10 Pro (Renewed) : Amazon.ca: Electronics

actually I bought it because of battery life and @kojack is always praising the dell inspiron lineup. Kojack what are your thoughts on the 7400? is the battery life really 15-20 hours

My Jabra earbuds took a dive.  Though they will be warranty replaced, I had enough cc rewards and got a pair of Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro 2.  They sound great, but had to get the memory foam eartips so they stay in.  😕 hhaxS08412.jpg

Finally i got lucky with a price error in internet! Christmas came early for me. I had on my ebay watch list some Asus laptops from Asus store and they were doing some promotions for 2% 3% and so on and getting notifications about them on my phone, and after those notifications came a third from an Asus Zephyrus G15, and after some 10 seconds i see the price at 729 Euro, i didnt belive my eyes and opened the Ebay app and i see that price again and if i want to approve the Offer. I didnt think about it i just clicked approve and right away after i also paid in full. The guys at Asus or the ebay shop instead of reducing the price from 1800 Euro to 1729 they forgot to put a 1 in front so the price was only 729! I thought they will never deliver and just cancel the invoice like everybody does when a price error is but today the package came and wenn i opened the Notebook was inside with a invoice for 729 EUR.

So i got a Asus G15 2022 with R9 6900HS 32 GB Ram and a 3080! with 240 HZ for 729 euro instead of 1729! Im happy and i suppose ill sell my Z13 Flow and make some money aswell at the end! Its in white instead of black like it was advertised but i cant complain😀

That's an awesome steal.  Do you not like your Z13 flow enough to keep it?  I considered it when looking around but ended up getting a Zenbook Pro since I don't use my Surface Pro 6 anymore after I graduated.

Thx, i like it, but the G15  is way better battery wise and graphics power. Also i need the 32GB that the Z13 doesnt have. Ill lose a little bit of portability and the touch function. Z13 is a nice machine but it needs a little more work , battery is really weak and and 16 gb is to low. Also its got some bugs, like sometimes it doesnt shutdown and i need to to a hard shutdown and right now i got some stuck pixels on my screen..need to contact Asus and try and RMA it.

Fish and chips from the place with the best fish and chips in the area.

That Maverick sounds nice.  I was going to say that if I were to buy a new pickup, or maybe a new car in general, that would be on the shortlist.  Although with that long of a backlog, I'd have to have something else in the meantime.

Thanks!  Would have been gone years ago.  Tried earlier this year to get her into a coral 7a to try out. I am just happy to be moving away from apple's garden of hell. Crappy iOS updates, lack of anything like a new feature, bugs and OS glitches, Just all around poor experience. Not what apple was back when we had our 6s'ssssss.

Picked up a Amazon fire hd 10 gen 13. It was the 32gb version.

pros

100 srgb 1080p screen with great contrast

g80 processor fast enough for all games except genshin impact

you can install play  store via apk installs

micro sd can be used as app storage so technically you can end up turning the 32gb tablet into a 256gb version for like 30 bucks

battery life is excellent, heavy gaming im getting 8-9.5 hours from 100-5 percent it seems to last 10 hours no matter what I do or change, some people are reporting 13 hours but i get 10 hours of browsing or gaming.

light, man this thing feels light, lifting it is a joy and hands dont get tired because its just that light

drum roll

it was 140cad bucks flip You can't get anything for 140cad and this tablet is actually really good, performance is similar to budget 300 dollar tablets thanks to the identical g80 processor

4tb samsung t7 shield ssd. its pretty fast and has plenty of storage. good for my games, so far installing 120 games on it, leaves me 2.5tb left on laptop for everything else. I honestly think its enough 7tb for a few years, not like its hard re downloading and in a few years internet will be faster than the ssd..

quick update on the OLED tv LG B2. its actually really impressive, I had eco turned on and now using hdr and 120hz 444 chroma its impressive. great text clarity fast response time, great colors and perfect blacks. I think it gets up to 700nits of brightness in hdr. also a first the tv tricked my brain into thinking the video of a bird was an actual bird because the lighting/colors/contrast were so accurate it tricked the mind, very very impressive indeed. if you need a OLED monitor the Lg b2 is unbeatable in the 900cad range

I watched a in-depth review of the s24ultra. its really cool how they improved the low light performance with the 5x(10x) zoom lense. and overall its a pretty big upgrade considering the inpeccable AI. You can literally change anything about a photo offline on the phone. I want one but I might wait one more generation because im still happy with my s21 ultra. one things certain I will be getting a 512gb version as 128gb is just not quite enough. 256gb is a min 512gb comfy.

I used the quest 2 a few times and yes its really cool but it is just uncomfortable to wear, I might have to drop money on the elite headstrap with the extended battery as im getting like 2 hours SOT, you get into a game or movie and it prompts you to charge haha well designed lol. The display is good enough sharp enough and looks ok. but after buying my oled 55in tv It's not going to be used as a monitor. just casual gaming. highly recommend if you can find it on sale.

Got the phone yesterday 😎.  After 1 day of use I am amazed.  Didn't expect the S24 Ultra to be so good vs my old S22 Ultra, but it's incredible what 2 generations apart mean right now. The build quality is top notch! The titanium frame looks so nice and gives the phone a very premium feel, the color titanium  gray is beautiful.

The flat screen is gorgeous,  I felt in love with it, so much of an improvement from the curved ones. Also the clarity, colors and the 2600+ nits are fire. Also that anti reflexion coating is pure 🔥.  I expect every phone from now on will make this thing a  new standard!

Battery feels like it will hold forever, but what I'm most impressed it's the speed of this cpu. It's miles ahead of the s22u. The phone is blazing  fast, every app and transitions is smooth like butter. No lag no nothing whatsoever,  only speed .

Now the cameras, they are a good upgrade, stuttering lag is improved, Focus is fine, the camera app is nice but in low light situation  and inside you still get noise, not that much as s22u ore 23u but the noise is still there. I suppose samsung needs to stop with  the 200 mpx sensors and just put a 1 inch 50 mpx  sensor inside like the Vivo and xioami phones which are taking better pictures as this one. Sure hope s25u will get one.

And now the AI stuff😃: they are nice and very good implemented,  they don't get in the way, just one click and you have the result. Didn't try all of them but that circle to search  is great. So easy to find what you are looking for. Tried it on some Instagram pictures with clothing and sruff, eveytime it found right away what was it, the firm and the price. This will help a ton with shopping🤣🤣

oh nice, I almost dropped 1600 on a s24. but my s21 is holding its own just fine. congrats on the purchase, people are raving about it and I see why. def getting a s25u when they come out. its really is a worth while purchase as phones are becoming increasingly useful they are bascially mini computers/dlsr cameras/and phones. funny how we use them as phones the least out of all the features.
