If I want to be technical, bought a 24" Samsung 1080p panel for my secondary screen and it's treating me well so far.

But the one I'm most proud of? Partner and I finished purchasing our flat (outright) and now we only have like 250€ a month in utilities (including internet) and a grocery bill to worry about, so I'm just happy I have my own office (she is too, was an issue at our old place) and a place to work on stuff.

It has been very good. I havent had many chances to use any of my PCs for a while due to work, incoming child, and being away from my place of stay for too long. It also gives me opportunity to play games I wouldnt run on my PCs regularly.

I already have Windows 10 installed in dual boot and currently in process of learning Linux so I can utilize the desktop mode more. My portable setup changed from lugging the A51m to the [Tab S8 Ultra or MSI GS66] and Steam Deck (weight to travel space ratio).

All these singleplayer and indie games make gaming fun again on the SD.

The nice thing about Samsung tablets are the keyboard add ons. While not the best, its basically a super chromebook with android features too. The dex mode has been my go to for casual use.

cmon u tease, tell us the price 🤪

the neo g9 has been my target monitor for quite a while now, until the neo g8 got released 😋 i decided to go for a more "standard" 16:9 ratio vs ultrawide but man the neo g9 is a beast to be reckoned with! which firmware are u running? also, what settings are u using? calibrated or not? give us da deetz!

Haha, yes g8 is great so is the new Alienware AW3423dw , but i really like the 32:9 ratio and of course the real estate you get with 49 Inches. So i got it from a guy who bought it 1,5 Months ago but he didnt use it cause it was to big for his new setup, he has an audio recording studio , but he couldnt return it anymore, i paid for it 1000 Euros with extra 3 years Insurance, great deal if you count the Extra Insurance is around 250 Euros, and is insured for everything possible, even theft. I put the 1011 Firmware on it and the HDR is really improved right now.

The only problem is that i read everwhere that if i want the best HDR experience i need to install Win 11 cus is miles ahead of the 10 HDR. And i hate W11 😑. I only did the calibration the rtings.com did. Look alright until now 🙂

And a Photo with the beauty :), sadly i know that i have to say farewell to my Clevo, the 2080 is not enough anymore to get the full power of the G9 Neo. Just waiting for the next gen Gpus and AMD Cpus to build a Desktop.

PS: need to buy a Ergotron Arm cus my desk is to small for those Legs 🙂

Yes :))), i am a "save all things on desktop" kind of a guy, now it takes me 1 minute sometimes to find something on the desktop 🙂

On topic: bought a pair of Edifier G2000 Speakers in white. Really nice sound for the size and the bluetooth is nice to have. One less cable around.

Got a new stand to use with my Blade 14 at work so I can bring home my old one and pair it with my kid's first gaming laptop. We originally purchased a Lenovo IdeaPad 3 Gaming Gen 7 from MicroCenter that had a Ryzen 7 6800H and RTX 3050. However, Lenovo is running a back-to-school/pre-Labor Day sale so I was able to grab the Core i5 12500H and RTX 3050 Ti model for the same base price after discount codes. The 10% in additional Rakuten cash back will more than cover the cost of the three-year on-site accidental damage warranty because child. While the MicroCenter special has 16 GB of DDR5, the Intel model only had 8 GB of DDR4, but I can easily remedy that. The 32 GB kit I have will be way overkill, but it's what I have on-hand so there won't be any extra expenditure. I'm excited for it to arrive because I've been quite pleased with the AMD version in the few days it's been in service. The build quality is decent for an all-plastic chassis. I particularly like the smooth deck and trackpad. The screen is the crummy 120 Hz 250-nit panel found in all entry-level Lenovo and Dell gaming laptops, but it's not a huge deal since the laptop is going to be connected to a TV 95% of the time. The real disappointment is the keyboard, which feels harsh and plasticky - not at all what I would have expected from a Lenovo.

I was looking to get a new wireless headset for my Blade 14 and found this on the clearance shelf at Walmart. I have the Xbox version, which is super comfortable, and while it can work on PC, it tends to cause blue screens. Can't argue with the price either.
