What phone are you daily driving currently?

Used to have a Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact; recently moved to an Xperia 5iii. I am honestly unimpressed by most phones, they all look and feel the same now. Only reason I got an Xperia is because it still has a tool-less SIM slot, 3.5mm jack, the only rectangular, notchless, hole punch-less OLED screen.

I don't care for the camera on the phone.

I have to agree. I was going to do a trade in of my s21ultra but nothing really feels like an upgrade worth losing this for 600

Currently running with a Samsung S9, though have been seeking a replacement for it. Currently eyeing up the Samsung A52 5G, though going to wait until next month to see if any discounts come up for it / if Samsung updates the A line.

I'm currently using a Samsung S21 which i bought to replace an A8 (2018) primarily because of the better camera(s). I've two key requirements for a phone (i) small enough to fit in my pockets and (ii) the ability to take two SIM cards so I can add a local SIM when I travel. The S21 is a few millimetres bigger than the A8 and I see that the S22 is a few mm smaller so I might start looking around for one at a good price (ex-display or a return) once they have arrived. If the S22's camera zoom ability is better than the S21 then that's a further attraction.

iPhone 13 Mini. It's going to be a shame when Apple discontinues the Mini lineup as I think it's the best non-Pro model available.

Same. Love the 'mini' size leaps and bounds over my iPhone 11 or 7 Plus. Nearly identical to the iPhone 6 I still have and use for motorcycle trips. I use a magnetic Pop-Socket for various mounting. First phone I've had with an Otterbox case with working magnetic ring (strong) that still wirelessly charges at full speed!

I've wanted to try the "mini" versions of iPhones due to the fact my hands are small and I struggle to reach the joysticks on an Xbox 360 controller; the Xperia is just giant in my hands, kind of amusing (and disappointing to type one-handed).

I have various phones, instead of having the latest and greatest, I like having various phones of varying age.

I have my SIM in a Sony XZ1 Compact running Android 8, however I'm using my Samsung Galaxy S7 (which also runs Android 😎 more often than my main phone. I have a Motorola Droid Razr M as my music device currently, it currently runs Android 4.4.4, but I have another one running 6.0. I also have a HTC Rezound which I think is a pretty cool phone, but links to good ROMs are nowhere to be found, so it's currently sitting on a 4.2.2 ROM while I wait for someone to respond to my pleading for someone to give a link to the ROM I want.

I'm just going to stop here before I list every phone i own in a thread about what daily drivers.

That is a great phone. My wife and I got pair of the V30 ThinQ in a BOGO deal from T-Mobile when they were new releases and just recently replaced them. Mine still looks like new and it served me well for a long time.

Google Pixel 6 pro. I like the Google software experience and don't tend to use my phone much except taking pictures/ some web browsing and a couple of apps. Don't do any phone games or anything.

Same. No interest in playing games on one. That seems really lame to me. I use my phones primarily as a phone, text messaging and to spontaneously capture photos. I like OnePlus and Google Pixel phones because they are excellent quality and easier to root. There is a growing number of phones that are highly root-resitant and I really hate that. Going forward, I do not plan to purchase any phones that make rooting difficult or impossible. My OnePlus 8T was very easy to root.

I ended up ordering a S22 Ultra 512GB and Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra 512GB with the keyboard cover for $1250 after tax/cash back.  I figure I can sell the Tab for that much and basically get a S22 Ultra 512GB for free.

I have no need for another tablet, plus we have a decent LG 4k panel in our bedroom.

Samsung Galaxy A20.

I been thinking about buying a new phone because its starting to show its age especially the storage since its only 32GBs and it slows down often when multitasking, I been thinking about going with a Google Pixel 5 or 6 or a OnePlus type phone. I want to break away from Samsung as my last 2 phones were Samsung Galaxys, At this point i wouldnt mind going with a IPhone.

Current Laptop:

Lenovo Legion 5: AMD Ryzen 7 4800H 2.8Ghz (Boost: 4.2Ghz), 6GB Nvidia Geforce GTX 1660Ti GDDR6 Memory, 15.6" FHD (1920 x 1080) 144Hz IPS display, 32GB 3200MHz DDR4 memory, 512GB M.2 NVMe PCIe SSD, 1 TB Teamgroup MP34 M.2 NVMe PCIe SSD, Windows 10 Home 22H2

Samsung S4 mini as my 'phone', since I mainly only use my phone like a pager for notifications. It is compact and with an easily/cheaply replaceable battery :)

Samsung S7 Active as my outdoor navigation/GPS tracking/observations/logging tool since it is extremely robust, has a better sized screen for mapping, decent camera, and most importantly – an additional 'active key' and other hardware buttons meaning that I can use all the functionality I need while out and about even with gloves on (or e.g. by feel while cycling).
