Again, the clickbait article you quote is wrong. Windows "throttles" apps minimized and that are not being currently used.  not active apps.  I have no such "bugs" you complain constantly about.

No support. No problem. If you actually care about that, just run a script to flip it to LTSC/IoT Enterprise permanently HWID activated in an instant. No reinstall necessary... easy 30 second fix. And, not getting the newer Winduhz sucky crap "features" that you don't want rammed up your tailpipe is also a win.

For someone who hates windows you seem to be completely consumed with it.  try something else.  you might be a happier person.

There is nothing wrong with criticism, also, they have experience with using Linux as well.

We've already had that conversation multiple times before. Sometimes you have to use Winduhz even when you would prefer not to. My employment revolves around the use of Micro$lop applications that do not function on anything but Windoze. If everything made to run on Winduhz ran on Linux some of us would use only Linux and wouldn't waste drive space or burn any calories forcing Windoze into conforming to our will.

Winners take control of matters to the greatest degree possible to make the best of a bad situation and force things to go their own way rather than falling in line with Kool-Aid stained lips. Assisting others in following the same path of resistance and validating their mutual discontent with the OOBE is also a good thing.

Winduhz and crApple: "Here's how things are going to work. We don't care if you like it. Our decision, not yours. We know what is best for you."

Linux: "Choose whatever distro you want and do whatever you feel like doing. We don't care. You do you. You know what is best."

There are merits and demerits to both. Sadly the demerits are more notable when the merit is a smooth running operation.

I dont use Apple personally as their ecosystem doesnt suit my needs, if my interests were different then of course that wouldnt be the case.

As much as I do enjoy the ease of access (and more importantly, familiarity) of Windows, I cant trust it to do what it is expected unattended, which is why I use Unraid for things that need to "just run" without persistent user intervention. Its just an unfortunate circumstance that benchmarking was made in large part to be relative to what you can expect in gaming. Gaming being largely on Windows, despite being a highly individual "sport" on an OS that doesnt really care to suit the needs of the individual. As such we get to spend a lot of time resisting broad stroke solutions.

Pick your poison, as it were lol
