saw the video it actually looks like cyberpunk has original esque skryrim quality textures pity in 2022-23. wonder what devs are thinking. we need evolution not de-evolution. But the update looks promising, some shots looked like a small upgrade others huge....time will tell.

Yeah this is now on nexus,

https://www.nexusmods.com/cyberpunk2077/mods/7652

I don't know that I plan on getting it since I have hundreds of mods and it could possibly break a few for not that much benefit to me at 1080p anyways. I think the background npcs without names etc are way over detailed in this game, could have done it like GTA5/RDR2 and had lower details on them and then have more of them to fill it out more or more random stuff etc. World is too big and mostly empty, needed to be smaller but more going on etc I've got a lot of higher res/upscaled ads, grafitti etc already. For me the clothes, weapons, cars mods along with the QOL mods are way more in game changing then some rando textures here and there.

So this guy on guru3d, which looks exactly like NBR btw pretty nice probably get an account there, says he packed 100 mods into one using wolvenkit. In the walkthrough it's hard to tell really. I mean I have hundreds and you can visually see them in the ads, cars, remove green filter, billboards, etc I can't really see anything but vanilla here, maybe a red tint to it. The glare there is atrocious as well, I'd get a headache after not too long.

Another person over there posted a video of real gameplay w the hd reworked project installed.

https://forums.guru3d.com/threads/cyberpunk-2077.435771/page-128

For me I can't really see it, it's like when you play football, either one, a blade of grass and such is blurry anyways, it's only when you stop and look for it that you can notice it but in this case you'd have to have a memory for what it looked like before, eh I mean I guess at this point the balanced edition of the mod is like 400-500mb but in comparison my whole pc/mods folder is 2gb w about 700 files in it so for the size it should be mind blowing, doubt it from what I see here.

I look forward to trying it in a few years then. If the desktop 4090 has to run dlss performance to get 60fps then a laptop class gpu has no chance.

With dlss 3 frame generation I get around 70 fps in downtown night city and around 90 in the desert with my 4090 Thats on 5120x1440 resolution. But yes no chance to play without some form of dlss

I'm imagining a laptop higher wattage 4080/4090 could probably play it at 1080p or 1440p with DLSS3 frame gen.

Just FYI, the ray reconstruction feature is only available when the path tracing option (RT overdrive) is enabled so don't expect performance to be all that great on anything short of an RTX 4080 or 4090.

keep me posted if its even remotely good ill be buying a pico 4 or a quest 2(torn between the 2) in a few days. might be worth the purchase for a full on game like cyberpunk to mess in a virtual world.

I tried out 2.0 over the weekend and i liked most of the changes in the update, Also performance is better due to the fact that the game uses more CPU power. One change i dont like is the level scaling, it makes leveling up pointless because the NPCs will scale with you and you lose the sense of progression. I might change my mind when i start a new game, Gonna hold off buying Phantom Liberty until i have enough free time to play it fully
