Yes. Cut accordingly. Trim some, test fit and trim some more. You need these fins as long as possible

Not working. I cut all, doesn't fit yet... Yes I talk about the fins, we're at the minimum of the minimum (M18X R2 heatsink)

Is it really that offset? I mean it has 2 cm of fins. It should fit since it is an MXM format.

That's a lot of progress. Don't mod inf. Use NVcleaninstall instead

Hey guys, is it normal my keyboard is working half? I cleaned the ribbon cable but still the same

Like jklm doesn't register and some other keys

(It's not the ribbon cable! Just the keyboard acts strange)

Hello. The seller doesn't help either.

Doesn't provide me with a high TDP VBIOS. It literally says on the listing it can do 130W max but it's 60W max in reality.

They get 7700 in 3dmark timespy with PCIE gen3

I get 4185...

Even on the mail, the seller confirmed me it was the 130W VERSION!!

X-VSION are scammers for the price I've paid. Even the RTX 3000 is better...

Hello.

Yes. 1080MHz to be exact for 130W*

There's also a 90W version but mine is 60W while the seller told me it's indeed the 130W max TDP. Nvidia panel and GPU-Z are stating max 60W.

Sadly there are no compatible VBIOS I can flash without bricking. I can't just use any vendors VBIOS since they probably have a different UEFI partition.

did you pay with paypal? If you did so you can start a dispute to shake things up if the seller is not responding

Yes. That's what I did yesterday haha!

The seller literally woke up after seeing a dispute on paypal

Is this cooler good for 130W?

You may have a problem with the memory chips to the left of the GPU. You may also need to redo the mounts.
In terms of pure heat output, it should be able to handle it

Well it can cool 2/3 of the VRAM. I can just put some thermal pad on the 1/3 that aren't covered with a heatsink.

I did make my RTX A3000 MXM fit for the 100W heatsink (left VRAM wasn't present on this 12GB model)

This heatsink has a bigger coverage than the original 100W heatsink, so no problem on that. Also I just need to trim the heatsink fins to make it fit. No need to redo the mounts.

then try it, it probably will work.

Hello. It worked for the original 100W for the RTX A3000 (same die and Vram placements), so why not on this custom heatsink that's made to support and cool well the GTX 1070 MXM (120W-125W)

Hello.

I'm gonna return the RTX A3000 12GB MXM 60W because the seller sent me a wrong one. Once the seller will receive he 60W one, the seller will send me the 130W variant.

Hey,

Seller is not very professional as you had to force a paypal dispute to get an answer.

Cards are different or just vbios differ? Because if cards are the same, and only vbios differs maybe you can flash it with ch341A & 1.8v adapter?

Hello.

It has a different PCIE ID but the same GA104 die. I tried to flash a 130W VBIOS from techpowerup but it didn't work. GPU not being detected so I had to revert back to the original working 60W VBIOS.

Okay remember I was about to buy an RTX 3080 MXM.

It's been ONE week and I still haven't got a single tracking number for it... Are they gonna scam me on this one too? Let's see.

To be honest they only help when you are filling a dispute thru PayPal. Only pay with PayPal when they only accept bank as an online payment.

Hello. The shipping was fast for the return. It says delivered to their place but the seller still haven't texted me yet. I think I'll probably get both cards in January:(
