out of curiosity, what kinda member count are we looking at currently? NBT has been up since end of jan this year approx, right?

Correct on the timeframe.  Member list shows the count at 398 with new users joining daily.

I just didnt want to lose our group that had been built up for well long before I ever came along. I didnt see TechTarget letting go of the db to the support staff and at that point in time I didnt see a concerted movement to give us a platform to hop off to, @Hiew had long been building forums here and there and has been a good friend of mine for about a decade now. I asked him if we can build something serviceable with the time frame we had left (about a week?), the rest is history. 

 

Be sure to check out the NBRchive as well, we backed up nearly everything save for Off Topic and WLSIB so if you are longing for some old official threads we have them here as well.

sweet! here's to hoping that we can re-built the NBR community from its ashes 🙂 do we have some kinda "PR" going on for NBT? so far it seems like word is spreading just by ex members word of mouth (like in my case, had no idea about this until recently)

Nope!

 

We have some ideas to increase attention to the forum but we have both been fairly busy, I will be making some progress this week though.

 

Those who have made it, I assume was done via word of mouth via other forums for what mostly seems from people trying to figure out what happen to NBR.

Always open to suggestions :)

Hi All! I cannot believe Notebook Review Forum is gone just like that.

However, this new site looks a lot more modern and friendly. Hopefully the community overall will be much better and explanations will be much clearer!
