***Don't panic if the new Laptops/Systems are not in the list they will be supported they are more likely supported, install the drivers and if it works let me know your Model Number and it will get added to the list.***

Install instructions:

•  Disconnect from the internet. (Not Required, so very Optional)
•  Reboot System and Enter BIOS/UEFI.
•  Please DISABLE SECUREBOOT in your BIOS this is now important for this new installer!
•  Once you have booted back into the OS Temporarily disable AV software (Some Anti-Virus tools might false report and delete the file!).
•  Now run the Realtek_UAD_6.0.1.9279.1_MSI_Nahimic_UWP_mod.exe Installer
•  Select either Full Install, Install Without Nahimic, Full Uninstall or Downgrade Nahimic 3.
•  Sit back and relax as the UWP's get uninstalled, the driver gets uninstalled and then your system is rebooted into test signing mode and everything is installed and your system is rebooted again!
•  Now head back into your BIOS/UEFI and Re-enable SecureBoot!!
•  Now let the system boot up fully and re-enable the internet connection. (Only if you disconnected from the internet)

***[IMPORTANT]****
As i no longer have a MSI Laptop can users please report any and all issues to this forum thread so i can rectify them quickly.

Known possible bugs and fixes:

Issue: Two Nahimic Mirroring device show up in Device Manager:
Solution: run Realtek_UAD_6.0.1.9279.1_MSI_Nahimic_UWP_mod.exe and select Uninstall first before using Full Install.

Issue: Nahimic 3 updated via Windows 10 Store and no longer works.
Solution: Head into Windows 10's Store and Select the 3 Dots, followed by Settings and turn of Windows Store's Auto Application Updates,
then run Realtek_UAD_6.0.1.9279.1_MSI_Nahimic_UWP_mod.exe and select Downgrade Nahimic.

Issue: Ran Nahimic 3 Downgrade option however Nahimic 3 1.8.9.0 UWP effects are not working or its reporting the device is not upto date.
Solution: Simply run Realtek_UAD_6.0.1.9279.1_MSI_Nahimic_UWP_mod.exe select Uninstall and then after its completed the Uninstall re-run Realtek_UAD_6.0.1.9279.1_MSI_Nahimic_UWP_mod.exe and select Full Install APO3 or APO4.

Issue: Jack Detection not working.
Solution: Simply go to Realtek Audio Console Disable and Re-enable it.

Issue: Microphone not working after using Nahimic Optimizer.
Solution: Click Reset inside Nahimic Settings section will fix this.

Issue: Microsoft Overwritten the installed modded driver.
Solution: Head to Settings → System → About, Now click System info then Select Advance System Settings → Hardware Tab → Driver Installation Settings, now select NO! save and reboot the system. Then run Realtek_UAD_6.0.1.9279.1_MSI_Nahimic_UWP_mod.exe and select Full Uninstall, after it has rebooted your system re-run Realtek_UAD_6.0.1.9279.1_MSI_Nahimic_UWP_mod.exe and select Full Install.

Issue: Nahimic 3 reports its device is not compatible basically not working.
Solution: Run Realtek_UAD_6.0.1.9279.1_MSI_Nahimic_UWP_mod.exe and select Full Uninstall, after it has rebooted your system re-run Realtek_UAD_6.0.1.9279.1_MSI_Nahimic_UWP_mod.exe and select Full Install APO3 or APO4.

Issue: Sound has become muffled/suppressed/distorted.
Solution: Run Realtek_UAD_6.0.1.9279.1_MSI_Nahimic_UWP_mod.exe and select Full Uninstall, after it has rebooted your system re-run Realtek_UAD_6.0.1.9279.1_MSI_Nahimic_UWP_mod.exe and select Full Install APO3 or APO4.

Issue: I don't want the Nahimic 3 Bloatware!
Solution: Run Realtek_UAD_6.0.1.9279.1_MSI_Nahimic_UWP_mod.exe and select Install Without Nahimic

If anyone spots new drivers let me know. If its a big step up then i will make a new pack, whats a shame is i am going to make the mod pack exclusive to this site as the other site people are complaining about my installer being shady.

I won't let them get under my skin, its a simply fix if people don't like it and think its sus do the work themselves. But yeah going to keep the drivers to one site for now else its going to make things stupid trying to keep both updated.

The latest mod driver working perfect with a GT76 Titan DT 9SG, GS63VR 6RF and GE73VR 7 RF. If you need help for testing let me know bro .

Would this mod even work with Mainboards from MSI? would it be possible to add Mainboards if this is not to much of work. just a question :).

Mainboards should work as long as its an MSI and the Codec Id's are in the .inf files which they should be as Realtek UAD drivers normally have most Codec ID's in them.

The only issue might be the Nahimic 3 side of things as i am no sure if the Mainboards from MSI have Nahimic on them.

Ok, then i will check this with my MEG X570S Ace Max it has the new USB Soundchip but i think that should not be important.

I report back when i test it.

Well, minus that issue I mentioned on the old forum, where the the last version of the UWP app "RealtekSemiconductorCorp.RealtekAudioControl" is 1.32.261.0.

Are you still having issues with 1.32.261.0?? If so i will downgrade it or if there is a newer one upgrade the UWP for you.

But waiting on my X170KM-G to be fixed (Bent pins on CPU socket), so currently back on old ye faithful right now. Yes its on a VM however i am on Linux right now on the old laptop.

Yes, as before the whole thing install correctly but the Realtek Control Panel does not launch. It is simple to fix it by reinstalling with the old .appxbundle file.

Yes; everything works correctly EXCEPT the Realtek Control Panel app. Very strange.

time to do a new modded MSI Realtek driver version as this 6.0.9305.1 MSI driver recently came out

 

and try to update the Nahimic APO3 & APO4 driver files as well

latest APO3 driver is 3.5.1.0 while latest APO4 driver is 4.7.1.0

 

maybe Tiki here should update to 9305, which should also update the Realtek Audio Control UWP app to at least 1.35.264.0 or greater

***Don't panic if the new Laptops/Systems are not in the list they will be supported they are more likely supported, install the drivers and if it works let me know your Model Number and it will get added to the list.***

 

Install instructions:

•  Disconnect from the internet. (Not Required, so very Optional)
•  Reboot System and Enter BIOS/UEFI.
•  Please DISABLE SECUREBOOT in your BIOS this is now important for this new installer!
•  Once you have booted back into the OS Temporarily disable AV software (Some Anti-Virus tools might false report and delete the file!).
•  Now run the  Realtek_UAD_6.0.1.9305.1_MSI_Nahimic_UWP_mod.exe Installer
•  Select either Full Install, Install Without Nahimic, Full Uninstall or Downgrade Nahimic 3.
•  Sit back and relax as the UWP's get uninstalled, the driver gets uninstalled and then your system is rebooted into test signing mode and everything is installed and your system is rebooted again!
•  Now head back into your BIOS/UEFI and Re-enable SecureBoot!!
•  Now let the system boot up fully and re-enable the internet connection. (Only if you disconnected from the internet)

***[IMPORTANT]****
As i no longer have a MSI Laptop can users please report any and all issues to this forum thread so i can rectify them quickly.

 

Known possible bugs and fixes:

 

Issue: Two Nahimic Mirroring device show up in Device Manager:
Solution: run Realtek_UAD_6.0.1.9305.1_MSI_Nahimic_UWP_mod.exe and select Uninstall first before using Full Install.

 

Issue: Nahimic 3 updated via Windows 10 Store and no longer works.
Solution: Head into Windows 10's Store and Select the 3 Dots, followed by Settings and turn of Windows Store's Auto Application Updates,
then run Realtek_UAD_6.0.1.9305.1_MSI_Nahimic_UWP_mod.exe and select Downgrade Nahimic.

 

Issue: Ran Nahimic 3 Downgrade option however Nahimic 3 1.9.5.0 UWP effects are not working or its reporting the device is not upto date.
Solution: Simply run Realtek_UAD_6.0.1.9305.1_MSI_Nahimic_UWP_mod.exe select Uninstall and then after its completed the Uninstall re-run Realtek_UAD_6.0.1.9305.1_MSI_Nahimic_UWP_mod.exe and select Full Install APO3 or APO4.

 

Issue: Jack Detection not working.
Solution: Simply go to Realtek Audio Console Disable and Re-enable it.

 

Issue: Microphone not working after using Nahimic Optimizer.
Solution: Click Reset inside Nahimic Settings section will fix this.

 

Issue: Microsoft Overwritten the installed modded driver.
Solution: Head to Settings → System → About, Now click System info then Select Advance System Settings → Hardware Tab → Driver Installation Settings, now select NO! save and reboot the system. Then run R Realtek_UAD_6.0.1.9305.1_MSI_Nahimic_UWP_mod.exe and select Full Uninstall, after it has rebooted your system re-run Realtek_UAD_6.0.1.9305.1_MSI_Nahimic_UWP_mod.exe and select Full Install.

 

Issue: Nahimic 3 reports its device is not compatible basically not working.
Solution: Run Realtek_UAD_6.0.1.9305.1_MSI_Nahimic_UWP_mod.exe and select Full Uninstall, after it has rebooted your system re-run Realtek_UAD_6.0.1.9305.1_MSI_Nahimic_UWP_mod.exe and select Full Install APO3 or APO4.

 

Issue: Sound has become muffled/suppressed/distorted.
Solution: Run Realtek_UAD_6.0.1.9305.1_MSI_Nahimic_UWP_mod.exe and select Full Uninstall, after it has rebooted your system re-run Realtek_UAD_6.0.1.9305.1_MSI_Nahimic_UWP_mod.exe and select Full Install APO3 or APO4.

 

Issue: I don't want the Nahimic 3 Bloatware!
Solution: Run Realtek_UAD_6.0.1.9305.1_MSI_Nahimic_UWP_mod.exe and select Install Without Nahimic

MSI recently and unexpectedly updated their Realtek UAD drivers for recent MSI desktop motherboards to version 6.0.9326.1 (seems like MSI is picking up the pace with some of these driver releases lately)

 

so time to do another updated modded driver again, solidus1983 (whenever you're ready)
