Please can you explain and show exactly how to make the shut mode on the rtx3080 ..
-which 20mOhm shunt resistor is needed and where to buy it

-where to solder exactly

-precaution  and tips when soldering

BTW, can we exceed 180w on the card if we use a water-cooling system?

Thanks

Today they ship my heatsink, the seller also sent me the picture thickness of the thermal pads that i should use in my case. Can anyone confirm they correct for P775TM1 chasis, card will be RTX3080.

All the best! Guys, tell me how to turn on the boost on 3080? Clevo p775tm,

You can have boost but only on a very old driver. It was working and i swear to god the moment I made a post here about it next driver update it was gone... 😄

The last working driver with boost is 528.49 and the latest driver is 591.59. So it is really old...

@srs2236 are you still using your p775 as main in that configuration?🤔

yup, the only thing happened so far is two like dead pixel lines on my panel, from i assume all the jumping and sleeping my cat has been doing on this poor thing haha. oh and had to change keyboard like 4 times... but the last one so far is good. oh and it desperately needs new thermal paste, its very loud. the rest has been the same, all the overclocks, undervolts, ram timings.

Thank you very much, you have a kind heart.

@srs2236  Is there any chance you still have all the photos somewhere from modifications? For me most important will be  photo of the thickness of the thermal pads you used. Yesterday arrived my heatsink the build quality is average :x CPU and GPU contact surface is not acceptable i will need somehow to polish it.
