Just saw 1899, good series, very confusing at first, think the first 4 episodes i was in the dark 😅.

A combination of more ideas (inception, westworld, memento) but well put together. Hope season 2 will not disappoint. Actors played also good.

That looks very interesting. I just had a quick look at the trailers on youtube....looks like my kind of show. Thanks for sharing, I will give it a try

I've been watching Shantaram lately.

It's not exactly following the book closely I'd say, but I think it's a good adaptation nevertheless.

Ha, basically a US version of Sherlock, which was pretty good. Noted!

aw man, still waiting for a new season of Sherlock! "unfortunately" the main actors have become waaaaay too famous and expensive I fear hahaha

Both main leads played their roles really well, I had no idea that I would come to enjoy Miller as a main protagonist as the previous exposure to him was IIRC on Dexter.

Saw Obi Wan.. Weak.. Expected more but it was a let down. Didnt like the Leia arc or that Reva story, also the actress playing Reva didnt do a good job.. And full of plot holes.. Only redeeming quality was Ewan mcgregor.

 

 

Started Andor now and i like it more. A little slow but better played and the story is intriguing.

Strated Andor now and i like it more. A little slow but better played and tje story is intriguing.

 

try and stick to Andor, its a slow burning fire but its slowly picking up and gets more interesting as u go along 🙂

Oh yeah, Andor is good, and definitely better than Obi Wan.

Still, not as great as Mandalorian IMO. I guess I need to lower my expectations a bit and not expect another great SW-show, since that seems to happen just once in a decade or so

I've always been inclined to non-fiction TV shows, so I've found Air Disasters to be excellent.

Funny you should mention it, I did in fact start it on Wednesday haha 

 

Also saw a couple episodes of Tulsa King. It's not Great (IMO the imdb ratings are a bit too high), but I still think it is quite good. Nice to see Stallone has some good roles left in him.

In the non-fiction domain I'm currently watching Rise of Empires: Ottoman , a few episodes in and so far, so good.

I had watched "Air Crash Investigation" / "Mayday" series a lot. I've found the production value, commentary, and the narrator to be quite good in comparison to other offerings in this grim genre. Turned out this didn't improve air travel comfort lol.

My favourite episode has to be "Flying on Empty":

well ill be damned, a mafia tv show starring Stallone! and it even has great imdb ratings, who knew! might have to look into that, thx for the headsup :)

I was quite skeptical really, a single hand will be too much to count the good roles Stallone has had in the past decade or so. But the good ratings convinced me to give it a try and I was happy that I did. AFAIK it's already renewed for season 2, so the show seems to be doing quite well :)

Found a cool Google.android app. It's called Pluto tv and it's completely free with no sign up. It's like having free cable TV...amazing what's out there

I am going to wait until the whole season is done and if i hear they will not destroy the story like the second game, if its the same i will skip the series 😁

 

Also season 2 of Mayor of Kingstown is out, very good show, Sheridan ftw 👍

Yeah, I think that one will be hard to pull off, not least because the game set the bar so high. I am not sure what, if anything, they could add on top of that experience. Right off the bat Ellie looks a little miscast. Probably more aimed at the people who haven't had a chance to play.

Was watching the original Twilight Zone, it's hit or miss sometimes really interesting sometimes corny stuff.
