Just watched Alone in the wilderness Story about Dick Proenneke who spent 30 years alone living in an Alaskan off grid cabin he built. Very appealing.

I was always attracted to this stuff. As a kid my favourite books were like Robinson Cursoe and Smith Family Robinson

Yeah there are about 4 different docos by his son or his brother can't remember about his time in Alaska, hard to find and I think PBS charges a fortune for them. Someone has them somewhere all together if you look though.

I binge watched Mr Inbetween. Hitman. Aussie tv drama. Now I'm homesick

Warning if your interested in Australia, extreme violence follows, but if you want to see some of the less "Idealised" type people that are promoted on TV...A lot of my friends talk exactly like this.

Saw a couple episodes so far. It's not great by any means, but it's still fine. Definitely better than most (if not all) of SW movies that came out after Disney took over :classic_laugh: , but not better than, say, Mandalorian, IMO

@serpro69 you wouldn't happen to know when the next installments of andor/mandalorian/bobba are coming, seems like forever for andor

No idea really, I usually don't follow up on these kind of news. The less I know about how much I need to wait - the easier it is to actually wait lol :classic_laugh:

But Andor at least has (some) info about season 2 on imdb, Mandalorian does not. Was it even extended for another season?

Oh yeah, Boba Fett was also quite fine. I felt it was a bit more fast-paced than Ahsoka.

My lady can't be bothered to watch anything SW-related, so in my case I have to watch them on my own :classic_laugh:

Finally got around to ahsoka starwars saga. It was ok I don't think having a renegade in every new series is a good/creative thing they are all starting to feel stale. I will likely watch all 8 episodes but this I repeat is not the mandalorian.

audience love the underdog and resulting struggle, so of course its gotta be a renegade every single time hahaha. havent started watching it yet but planning to do so with my lady at some point. thanks for the input bud.

True. It's going to be a long wait for TV series dedicated to Director Krennick or Grand Moff Tarkin, although I suspect Disney might get there eventually lol
