That's nice, it's in mxm 3.0b format!

Looks that its manufacted for  this egp Thunderbolt dock station for 600 dollars i guess

nice find, i especially like the fact that redditor was able to push the TDP to 130W+, thus making this a fullblown desktop 6600 🙂

i dont really have a proper context for an RX6600 Desktop, how does it compare to 2080S and 3080 mobile?

Waiting for a day where I see type As with more than 4GB video memory. Otherwise I could see this in a M6800... that is if it works.

Based on TS, 2080S is definitely more powerful even compared to the full power desktop 6600. 2080S even manhandles the 6600XT numerous times too.

I was initially excited then saw the benchmarks and went, "ohhhh....nevermind"

I think that It matches an 2080 mobile but not an full TDP desktop ofc .

It would be an definitive Legacy mxm laptop GPU though.

Sad thing its that surely Will be hard to get so not that commercial and Easy to get like on ebay.

Btw It should be an 24k graphic FS score gpu

It is quite a bit better than most 1070 results I am looking at right now, should be a good send off for a 4980hq, though I'll need to make sure that posts in the P157SM-A first before I let my hype get the better of me.

Agreed, if the price is decent, I could see upgrading my daughter's P377SM from the woefully weak M1000M she uses now to it if possible. Either that or she will compromise and learn to adapt to a 15.6" display on this Acer Nitro 5 I have sitting on the shelf. She is like me though and prefers 17.3" displays.

Hi! If anyone could tell me are 3.0b and 3.1b cards compatible together? There might be difference when it comes to internal heatsinking, but I think their measurements are quite same.

Just asking because found this card and can't figure it out if it would work in my GT73VR 7RF Titan Pro laptop or not...

Might be that my laptop only supports those 3.0b cards but then that Radeon RX 6600 might work better...

no significant differences between 3.0 and 3.1. just make sure that the dimensions and SMD layout fit your machine and heatsink. non-standard formats can come in both 3.0 and 3.1 flavours.

Core is offset to the middle so your heatsink will not work properly.
