This 13900KF and DDR5 7600 has definitely boosted my FPS! Most of its just from higher GPU usage which equates to more FPS. Definitely don’t see this often! I’ll take it when I can get it! Nice boost over the 11900K. -

Yeah if you think about it, It really isn’t all that amazing selling it for just $1,000 dollars. Not to mention, any 13900K chip is already selling for $800-$900 new on Amazon and eBay due to being “Out of stock” -

Your white LED’s styling is still programmed on the Unify-X, and the Corsair Vengeance DDR5 lol. -

@Talon @Mr. Fox @electrosoft @Papusan @johnksss @Etern4l @Reciever @jaybee83 He really just did that…$1,000 bucks for my 13900KF. I’m torn. Any thoughts? -

I decided to keep my 13900KF ECO model. I was tempted to ask like $1,000. But I’m attached to it. Plus, I would just have to go out and buy another one lol. I would be merely selling something just to sell something. Then spend more time and money potentially crying over another one LOL. And all the 13900KF’s are sold out until 11/8, which is what I’d be after if I had to buy another. I Blame @electrosoft for getting me all in to testing for low power consumption. 😄 -

I’ve managed some really amazing stuff with my 13900KF 5.9Ghz is easy for a daily it seems 😃. But for some reason I cannot even post past 7600 DDR5. Funny thing is, DDR5 7600 is stable. And good for daily as well. 5.9 GHz is stable on the P-Cores at just @1.350V. With 4.5Ghz E-Cores, and 5.1Ghz ring. This is a great CPU, and great memory too! But, maybe I’m limited by my board.. I’m seeing people stabilize 7800+ on a (6 layer) Z790 Strix F 😭 regardless not worth it to make me upgrade motherboards. I’m happy with what I’ve got. And it could also be me and not the board. Still tinkering here and there though. Lots left to still tune. -

@Mr. Fox @johnksss I’m confused by this. So, I’m trying to accomplish DDR5 8000+ and I’m a little lost by these new voltages. I want to try and set 1.65 VDDQ, and 1.60 VDD. Since these are on the higher side, I don’t want to hit the wrong one. I’ve got: CPU VDDQ in bios CPU VDD2 in bios DRAM VDDQ in bios Which is which? -

You could not stabilize 7600 with your Dark with the T-Force 7200’s? I did mine today. (16) iterations of HCI Memtest full coverage 2+ hours good to go. So I called it enough for daily. I just copied the timings of the 7600 XMP models. I got them at 7600 CL36-46-46-46-81@ only 1.400V. Let me know how the 7600’s do though. -

I kinda started feeling that way over the EVGA motherboards lately. little issues here and there. Nothing too crazy. But after using this MSI Unify X. I’m not missing anything. You don’t even have to set the bclk to over 100+ to maintain a solid even CPU frequency. Not sure why EVGA motherboards have a weak or low bclk frequency. That’s just a minor nit pick, primarily the debug LED’s failing was a major feature I have been upset over on all of my EVGA motherboards ever owned. Before even giving it a chance, I was seriously considering the Z690 Dark, or Z790 Dark. But I swear this MSI Unity X board is too good. Now, when buying future motherboards, it’s probably gonna be a first option to look at. I’m comfortable with the bios, and confident enough to buy another one. Obviously I’d buy another EVGA board too, but only if it was a decent value. -

When I was trying to bin for decent 11900K, I was testing them in a Z490 Gigabyte/Aorus motherboard. It was a joke.. lol. I had to test them all again on my EVGA Z590 Dark. Which managed to finally give me some consistent data on each chip. I don’t think I could ever go for another Gigabyte motherboard again. Honestly, now I’m a MSI fan! Who would have thought that! -

I didn’t realize DDR5 was so sensitive. I know DDR4 could be, but not a BSOD like that 30-45 seconds after taking the fan off. Usually Windows with DDR4 would keep running for me, and just spit errors out in memory testing. Anyways, I’m glad I know now. Fan is working great, but I will eventually watercool them in the coming weeks. I just copied Team Group’s Hynix A-Die 7600 timings from their new sticks that are not even released yet, and it’s very stable so far! DDR5 7600 CL36-46-46-81 @ 1.400V. I imagine 7800-8000 is possible though, haven’t tried yet. -

You are absolutely right! I turned my fan off and they started erroring of out within 45 seconds with no fan. I saw the temps hit 44C then maybe 45C and errors started popping up left and right. I BSODed before I could even close the HCI Memtest. They were already under load for 1hr+ prior to removing the fan. I reduced voltage to 1.400V and temps are even lower now. And stable in HCI Memtest have not tried again without a fan. But, I’m gonna just leave the fan for sure 😂 DDR5 needs a fan like our CPU’s need thermal paste LOL. I may consider water cooling my ram. And then remove the fan to prevent all that dust build up. DDR5 is awesome though! I love it. Very fast. Very stable “With a fan” 🤣 Anyways, I still think they’re special. Only because they are Hynix A-Die and awesome so far. -

Honestly, I don’t believe I need the fan. And I don’t have any other fans going at all. Just my water chiller runs. My large radiator and fans are covered with a towel to keep from contaminating water temp. Chiller is set to a 65F liquid temp daily 24/7. 😀 But I will unplug the single fan and see what happens. I’ll also take the voltage back to 1.400 on the memory. I’m curious to see how warm it gets. They’ll be passively cooled by the room air only, no fans. Also! MSI kindly offered a nice gap between the modules unlike EVGA Z590 Dark lol. They were practically touching. -

Hey, this T-Force A-Die runs crazy cool! I just have it at XMP 7200 C34, tFAW 16, and 262K+ tREFI. So far I’ve gone 1HR as of typing this. I even have the voltage increased from 1.400 to 1.435V (Which I don’t think it needs at all) And it runs 37-39C. Just a fan blowing on it. (16) iterations of HCI Memtest. This is the same OC profile that does around 260 watts max through R23 (30 Minute) -

Yeah shipping is high from them. Kinda like performance PC’s too if you spend less than $99 dollars that is. Those (2) adapter fittings I ordered for my water chiller are like $6.99 each, whenever I ordered two of them for $13.99, the shipping was $17.55 LOL. -

Y’all check out this thermal paste!! Thermal conductivity 17 W/mk I ordered some, I’ll let you know how it is once delivered. I can tell it’s crazy hard to spread like TFX probably even worse. Trying to tune out this 13900K to as little power and heat as possible while only gaining in performance. I was playing Doom Eternal capped at 165 fps earlier and my max cpu power was 60 watts 😎 https://www.amazon.com/Alphacool-Apex-Thermal-Grease-13036/dp/B0B51C4KHL/ref=sr_1_1?crid=1HOMWSPKTO5CO&keywords=Alphacool+Apex&qid=1667096364&qu=eyJxc2MiOiIwLjAwIiwicXNhIjoiMC4wMCIsInFzcCI6IjAuMDAifQ%3D%3D&s=electronics&sprefix=alphacool+apex%2Celectronics%2C316&sr=1-1 -

I can’t stand coil wine sometimes, especially when it’s really bad. My EVGA 1300P+ which is a high quality Platinum rated PSU with that big C19 sized power cable, well it has started screaming to death while gaming lol. All core heavy CPU load can’t trigger it. But if I play some games she straight up screams with the best. My 3090KP doesn’t make a peep surprisingly. -

You can try heating it up with a heat gun a few cycles, see if it comes back around. Or send it off for an electronics X-ray and repair. It’s fairly cheap to do so. -

With how advanced these new 13900K’s are. Using the newest Intel XTU is really the way to go with overclocking. It’s quite advanced! And user friendly. Plus, you are able to get peak potential from the cpu by leaving nothing on the table. I don’t use their auto tuning or anything. But manually overclocking with XTU is really awesome. It gives such great control over everything including the timings in real time. And I’m not having to jump in and out of the bios lol. -

Looks really great. Bump those E-Cores just a tap and you’ll be there! How do you like the 13900K? I did not own a 12900K but it does seem like a worthy improvement. After I bought those parts from you, I was tempted a few times to go after 12th Gen. But it was worth the wait for 13th. -

Ive set 1.170V in the bios with MSI LLC 5, which is a lower Load line setting. It performs like nothing ever happens. Only now power usage is more in line or below that of a AMD 7950X -

I’ve gotten this 13900KF down to 239 watts through R23@5.5Ghz! 🤓 and it’s still scoring 40,800. Definitely good for AIO usage right there, if that’s all ya had! I’m just pulling wasted power out of this thing left and right! And it’s still a blazing fast full force 13900KF! Testing stability for 30 minutes each time. No water chiller. Trying to find its lowest voltage. -

No deals lol, just took a gamble on the KF model hoping I’d come out okay. I was assuming Intel was pulling all the good 13900K models with IGP for the upcoming 13900KS, all speculation of course. I don’t know how they actually do it.
