I can’t stand coil wine sometimes, especially when it’s really bad. My EVGA 1300P+ which is a high quality Platinum rated PSU with that big C19 sized power cable, well it has started screaming to death while gaming lol. All core heavy CPU load can’t trigger it. But if I play some games she straight up screams with the best. My 3090KP doesn’t make a peep surprisingly. -

You can try heating it up with a heat gun a few cycles, see if it comes back around. Or send it off for an electronics X-ray and repair. It’s fairly cheap to do so. -

With how advanced these new 13900K’s are. Using the newest Intel XTU is really the way to go with overclocking. It’s quite advanced! And user friendly. Plus, you are able to get peak potential from the cpu by leaving nothing on the table. I don’t use their auto tuning or anything. But manually overclocking with XTU is really awesome. It gives such great control over everything including the timings in real time. And I’m not having to jump in and out of the bios lol. -

Looks really great. Bump those E-Cores just a tap and you’ll be there! How do you like the 13900K? I did not own a 12900K but it does seem like a worthy improvement. After I bought those parts from you, I was tempted a few times to go after 12th Gen. But it was worth the wait for 13th. -

Ive set 1.170V in the bios with MSI LLC 5, which is a lower Load line setting. It performs like nothing ever happens. Only now power usage is more in line or below that of a AMD 7950X -

I’ve gotten this 13900KF down to 239 watts through R23@5.5Ghz! 🤓 and it’s still scoring 40,800. Definitely good for AIO usage right there, if that’s all ya had! I’m just pulling wasted power out of this thing left and right! And it’s still a blazing fast full force 13900KF! Testing stability for 30 minutes each time. No water chiller. Trying to find its lowest voltage. -

No deals lol, just took a gamble on the KF model hoping I’d come out okay. I was assuming Intel was pulling all the good 13900K models with IGP for the upcoming 13900KS, all speculation of course. I don’t know how they actually do it. -

Its undervolted. I’m kinda slowly dropping it off. Just to find a good stable baseline for 5.5Ghz all cores. It’s less power than my last CPU and so much faster. -

My 13900KF overclocked is literally 300% faster than a stock 11900K in R23 MT. Pretty crazy. Great chips for sure. I’m testing mine at 5.5Ghz all cores, HT enabled, E-Cores enabled, and it’s peak power is 250 watts during R23 still scoring 40,660. I’m losing nothing in terms of performance and it brings the 13900K down near the AMD 7950X in terms of power levels. Good AIO could handle that. Definitely an improvement over last Gen. -

I got a private message from CENS he wants to buy my 13900KF and LN2 it apparently. -

Yeah I thought it was my cpu at first lol. It was clocked fairly high, or maybe even my really high tREFI. But it wasn’t either of those things. I reset bios and started fresh with XMP 7200 auto everything else, and it’s good to go. I jacked up memory frequency to even 7400 and it was still good to go. So far It’s either CPU SA voltage too low, or CPU VDDQ/VDD voltage being too low I’m thinking. I dropped SA to 1.150 and it wasn’t good. I did 1.300 SA and it’s stable. Now to slowly lower the others. -

My XMP 7200 is stable but that’s with auto auto SA/IO voltages, which seem really high. My manual settings of lowering the SA/IO voltages instantly crashed in game. So I need to slowly dial them back and see where it’s good at. -

44,270 in Cinebench R23 (This time no condensation, and a lot warmer water) Overclocking the E-Cores more did the trick easily. Honestly, since the new cold plate things have totally changed! 13900KF 5.9Ghz P-Cores, 4.7Ghz E-Cores, 5.1Ghz cache -

The bottom was fine I'm sure. All that water on the top just looks real SCURRY, so I turned the PC off. I can't afford to burn anything up. Anyways, here is 6Ghz P-cores, 4.5Ghz E-Cores, 5.1Ghz Cache. Almost had 44K.. I didn't change the priority of R23 like a doofus. I feel like this CPU has some real potential though. -

I got through R23 at 6Ghz P-Cores, 4.5Ghz E-Cores, and 5.1Ghz Cache, with only 1.360V 😃 @365 watts peak ..package temps were still like 80C, imagine this CPU with a delid. Screenshot inbound and coming. I had to power off my PC and let it dry real quick though. -

5.9Ghz R23 coming right up guys. I’m chilling my water down just a little. 60F, Nothing crazy. Should be a 44K+ score. -

I found the slow down in Windows 11, Core Isolation was enabled somehow. 😏 This single setting stole away an entire +1 bin in cpu performance and some extra on top.. I ran memory read again, and it’s 120,650Mb bandwidth. 😁 DDR5 Is INSANE!! OMG -

Yeah it’s the motherboard making the sound. The memory just triggers it some how I guess. could you possibly share some timings as a good baseline? -

DDR5 7400 is literally SCREAMING! Take a listen. I’ve always had these sounds, but not one this COOL!! -

You’ve got a good IMC for sure. I guess that also translates to DDR5 as well? You may just need some Hynix A-Die for full potential. But this cpu alone will probably give you a little more head room with your really good Hynix M die ram. -

Windows 11 is killing my R23 numbers. I have gotten 5.9Ghz all P-Cores stable with reasonable power levels about 350 watts or so. But, my score numbers are low.. Only 43K+ My updated windows 10 OS was so much faster. This Windows 11 OS is just terrible with benching for sure. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I’ve got the chip, I’ve got the cooling, but my OS is a garbage bloated turd… 5.9 all P-Cores is FAST btw. Bios voltage is only 1.330V!!!! I’m starting to believe I do have a great chip. The simple fact that I can run R23 at 5.9. I believe the new cold plate is what has done all of this and made this possible. That last one was extremely clogged up. -
