  1. Holding the power button down with no internal battery just drains any remaining electrical energy from the capacitors. It won't reset anything.
  2. Hello, welcome. Sorry Im not sure from your description. Is the laptop new to you or an old one that suddenly died? What diagnostics have you tried? Clear cmos? Strip the board down. Remove ssd, mxm card, wifi, memory. Try to boot.

  9. I could never get a blind bios flash to work on a Ranger @Maxware79 @Reciever ?? Resetting cmos is possible with memory insertion method, but as you have ascertained there are a LOT of screws to remove (to get all the dimm modules and cmos battery out)...stripped screws are just the cream on top.

  12. Just a thought about "AI developing consciousness" I do hope he is correct, ai can be a useful tool but have you tried using it? Bloody stupid sometimes. TLDR: self aware ai can not exist because of how consciousness works in the human brain (and I assume all biological brains) 2:15

  16. Nice. Very under rated artists, although some of his songs are too religious for my taste. I first heard The Ship Song and thought I got to hear more of this band. It was so different to anything else being played at the time. In the early 1990's I went to a Triple J Big Day Out music Festival and saw them live. early 1990's?.....Man Ima gettin old
  17. WOW is that Uncle Ted now....I'm getting pretty old, he must be way up there in age. He used to play like this Ted Nugent - Wango Tango

  21. Just in case someone hasn't seen the Mandelbrot set. I first saw this on an Amiga 1000 (my fathers) in 1985ish....impressed the hell out of me learning about fractals. PS this isn't the original set.
  22. Oh I saw Madame Butterfly about 25 years ago...what a sad story
  23. When Ai is used for this comedy stuff I laugh along......but some "true story" AI videos I've seen are just getting dangerous Anyway I don't really like the Voyager song but AI bewbs are good
