  1. I have the second one. Thank you. On a second note, I have also the 6-43-P8721-010-1N cable. What is that for?
  2. Thank you for the answer. As always a savior.
  3. Hi, Does anyone know what 40 pin EDP cable is needed to upgrade a Clevo P870DM to B173HAN03.1 display? 6-43-P8721-010-1N or 6-43-P8701-020-1L ?
  4. Do not have a link to the exact >=400.xx version but there are plenty of YouTube videos who has in description download links.
  5. @ViktorV is right with the diagnostic. Most of the times code 43 and those kind of artifacts leads to a memory bank (or more) with cold joints or ripped pads underneath. Get MATS, run it and post the results.
  6. That is a very nice AHVA panel with good color replication. I say go for it if you have the cash.
  7. What did the result of the dead motherboard was? Short? Dead South Bridge?
  8. To be honest i was thinking also at a step up power converter, but those have a terrible efficiency. I can also see the connectivity from 3 pin to 4 pin (meaning somewhat to be able to control the fan controller.). It would be nice if that works.
  9. That's why I am still rocking my P870DM platform. I know that I am somewhat limited by the 5v fans but I hope it will cope fine with a 8 core mutant or an 9700k. Also I am more than confident that it will manage to cool down a 150w 3080 easily.
  10. Ok, that is very reassuring. At one point I was thinking of going for a 3080 (obviously when the prices are right) but was afraid of bandwidth bottlenecking.
  11. Fun fact, if you port the P775 nvdgpudxe to P870 bios the Pci express lanes remain only 8 (not 16 like on the p775) but the second sli port stops working. So that means that the PcieE lanes on the P870 are hard wired only 8 lanes per slot. (wich makes sense due to limited pci express lanes of the CPU).
  12. For the dump you can use stock P870TM bios (last version)
  13. I have found the ones for the GPU and for the display but cannot find the one for the CPU
  14. To be honest I do not actually understand where does it needs that the bios needs to recognize CPU for gsync to work. I found where is the code to recognize the display but not the CPU. Maybe someone will share that with us.
  15. I wanted to try one of those Raptor adaptors but those are present only on alibaba.
