  1. By question, you mean they won't make some custom wirings? Yes these pins are on the specs, just that the manufacturer set them to N/A... You can look up for en.zrt-tech online and look at the RTX 4060 MXM card, you can see the pins. I'm not to sure where to look at the physical pins (front or back of the PCB?, back?).
  2. ZRT/X-VSION Ampère doesn't even have eDP signals and the PANEL pins but Clevo Ampère does have them... Which means ZRT/X-VSION Ada cards could potentially enable back the PANEL pins so we can finally use these cards on eDP display (P570, P870). I'm still waiting a reply from ZRT because they once told me, they can do some "custom wiring", I'm not sure, but let's wait.
  3. Yes but my screen is an eDP display, my Quadro P5200 and Quadro RTX 3000 have these pins I guess, otherwise that's why the RTX 4070 MXM doesn't work. I don't see the screen powering on, on my laptop. However with a compatible card, first the screen backight powers on and then the video signal is out. ZRT saw my messages but didn't even reply... Does the RTX 3080 from clevo have these PANEL pins?
  4. Thanks. I asked ZRT if they can enable them. They did use these pins on their GTX 1070M and 1660TiM (even thought they don't have eDP).. Here's where the pins are relied on my eDP conn. PNL_PWR_EN for pin PLVDD PNL_BL_PWM for pin PNL_BKLPWM PNL_BL_EN for pin PANEL_EN
  5. Hello. It's interesting because I'm trying to upgrade a Clevo P570WM laptop that has an eDP screen. This PC can be upgraded max to the Turing generation GPU such as Quadro RTX 3000,4000,5000 from HP because it has eDP on port D on the master MXM. And on the MXM slave connector, I have an RTX 4090 MXM. Now what I'm trying to do, make the X-VSION/ZRT RTX 4060/4070 work on this laptop. I looked at the schematics and saw that my mxm connector and the new cards have the same signals for DP_D, which is eDP signal. It's all good but... There's one problem. While comparing the pins, I saw 3 pins that were related to PANEL. 23 PNL_PWR_EN 25 PNL_BL_EN 27 PNL_BL_PWM These pins are for the backlight of the internal screen, so the eDP screen. I suppose without them, I think the screen won't even power on despite having the right video signal on DP_D? Is that correct? The ZRT/X-VSION 4060/4070 have the pins set to N/A, which means blank pins, no signal at all. Does that mean, we have a working eDP signal but no backlight support? Any idea? For reference, I tested the RTX 4070 from X-VSION on my laptop, it won't display anything on the screen but the computer boots to windows. I can connect to DP and HDMI and it displays on external screen. My MXM connector is literally the same as the P870TM1 connector. Ps: I'm also developing a new 175W MXM heatsink for the "centered offset GPUs" so my 4080 and 4090 won't throttle
  6. Hello, do you have a schematics for your eDP connector? Just to compare with mine. Since you have the same MXM connector pins 23, 25, 27 as me
  7. MXM connector pins (not the eDP conn) the same as P570WM, P870, Zbook G5/G6 17
  8. Hello. I compared the AETINA GTX 1060/1070 schematics and my MXM connector schematics. They both have the PNL_BL_EN PNL_PWR_EN PNL_BL_PWM But on the ZRT/X-VSION cards they have them set to N/A. Why? I'm sure they are needed. I looked at my eDP connector and I see the PANEL signals. (_EN and _PWM signals)
  9. I did look between my mxm connector and the ZRT 4060 signals and I again found something. Are the pins 23, 25 and 27 important? Because on the ZRT RTX 4060 they are all in N/A On my connector it's all PNL_ signals. (Like PNL_BL_EN) Like does PNL_BL_PWM mean Panel Back Light PWN? Because X-VSION and ZRT are lacking it What are these? Modulation clocks? Some news: ZRT told me their Quadro A2000M and RTX 3050M are eDP compatible like the 4050/4060/4070... but on their specs, I see DP 1.4+, not eDP. Kinda strange no?
  10. Yeah but your card has DP. ZRT has eDP, that's different. You might buy the RTX 5000 from HP because it has eDP
  11. ZRT told me these pins are for "IO ports", didn't specify me which ones. And ZRT said they tested eDP on port D with normal DP...
  12. Hello. X-vsion sent me their schematics and the the pins from 170 to 280 are the same as ZRT, they both have the same signals... But the x-vsion eDP doesn't work on both of my laptops.
  13. Why are the LVDS and VGA pins on RSVD or N/A?
  14. The pdf you gave the DP_D is DP. It could work with eDP but you have to mod to bring the brightness. Without mods, eDP doesn't work for the cards in the pdf. The RTX 4050/4060 from ZRT have eDP on port D but my lap doesn't have the 3V3 power for the pin 240 and 242
  15. We have the same thing on pin 240 and 242. We both have RSVD. On ZRT's RTX 4050/4060 MXM I see 3V3 on both pins. I have no idea what these pins are for? Are they for the DP_D? For the JTAG signals? Who knows...
  16. Hello. I looked at your post yesterday. I was curious why you did this. So I tried to discover. I compared very carefully each pins one by one, between my MXM connector and the RTX 4060 pins from ZRT. Here you can see that everything coloured is 100% compatible with my MXM connector. The red crossed ones aren't compatible signals for my MXM connector. JTAG is for testing, so I don't think that's important for eDP. Although the pins 240 and 242 seem important because they are like the "footer pins" of the DP_D (eDP). Are the two 3V3 pins that important? If yes, that's why did you do the wiring to power some of the 3V3 "signals" back? On my MXM connector, the two pins are set in RSVD. Can the manufacturer do some custom wiring for me? Like "cross-wiring" the pin 240, 242 to pins 278 and 280 for the 3V3 "signals"? Or get the 3V3 somewhere else on the board? If no, then nothing to worry about them?
  17. X-vsion is going to send me the schematics tomorrow but I don't believe them. I want to confront them for the eDP experience
  18. I say that because I have the RTX 4070 MXM from X-VISION I tested and it didn't work with eDP on port D on Alienware M17X R4 (different MXM connector signals maybe that's why?) and Clevo P570WM (supposed to work but nope). Nothing on the eDP signal. Maybe the 4070 doesn't have eDP? Who knows... (Tested different vbios too) So for the 4060... ZRT confirmed me it can work for my Clevo laptop according to the MXM connector schematic I gave them. They said both schematics on eDP DP_D are the same signals. ZRT tested their card with an "external" eDP display. However, we have X-Vsion who tells me they have the exact same schematics as ZRT for the RTX 4060!! but X-Vsion schematics aren't even online, so I can't even confirm if they are being honest. Months ago, X-Vsion told me the 4050, 4060 and 4070 all have the same PCB and all are eDP compatible but they didn't test... So to be honest, I don't know if ZRT are being honest or if X-Vsion is honest? I wanted to purchase a ZRT card but they don't have PayPal or a payment method in Alibaba.
  19. You don't have a laptop that's capable of eDP? With the MXM connector having DP_D L0# on pin 206 and DP_D HPD on pin 236?
  20. Hello. Do you have an HP Zbook G5/G6 or a Clevo P570WM/P870TM, eDP laptops? It's to test your RTX 4060 MXM from X-VSION yes. X-VSION said they have the same schematics as the ZRT 4060, but I'm not sure. If you could test that eDP theory, it could be nice.
  21. Hello. ZRT compared both of my laptop's MXM connector schematic and their RTX 4060 MXM schematic. They are both compatible with the same signals and pins. So eDP on port D should 100% work on my display. I tried to buy it but they said their PayPal is down? How am I gonna pay? I can't do a wire transfer because too much fees and not safe. I tried using XOOM on PayPal it went thru but immediately it got cancelled and I got refunded... If these companies want money, better sell on Alibaba.. EDIT: X-VSION AND ZRT HAVE THE SAME SCHEMATICS!! So a ZRT card will behave like an X-Vsion card, no display! Maybe... Because they both lack the PANEL backlight pins (3 of them, on pin 23, 25 and 27). Meanwhile these pins are present on my MXM connector.. If the backlight doesn't turn on, then there's no display because the screen is off, isn't that logical?
  22. Hello. So you're telling me a 6th/7th gen laptop can be upgraded to a 9/10th CPU from AliExpress? I9 10980HK and E-2286M?
  23. I got the RTX 4070 to work with HDMI but my cooling is so weak. If I had tested another vbios while using the M6700 I could also get the DP out work too. Displayed in 1440p 100Hz on my monitor for HDMI
  24. That's the mux switch fault on this board
  25. For the Alienware 18 R1, Any new cards will power throttle to 55W if the card is rated more than 80W of TDP. Even if you do a resistor mod, it won't work.
