  2. Hello. The ZRT and X-VSION cards are lacking something than the other pascal and Turing cards don't... Backlight support. When I start my laptop, the backlight doesn't trigger once, which makes the display off and doesn't display anything beside having video signals on DP_D. The Ampère cards on sale don't have eDP on DP_D, they have DP instead but could be transformed back to eDP if you mod. DP and eDP have the same signals on MXM, DP_D_L lines, AUX and HPD. Manufacturers for the Ada, they tested eDP signals with a DP out to an external monitor... I contacted Developer79 and sent my 4070 MXM to him. We'll see if he can simple jump the pin 23 and 25 and make this GPU display on his Clevo P870 (which has the same MXM connector signals as mine).
  3. Hello. I installed a 3080 in the AW18 R1 and the frames were so unstable. Not because of temps, it's because of the weird power throttling to 55W. Like it does 110W then 55W then 110W... On every benchmarks. On the 3060, I didn't see any issues until sliderfra did some proper testing with the RTX 3060. He had the same bug as on the 3080. He didn't found a way to get around the 55W instability bug.
  4. Hello, some following news. ZRT will initiate a meeting about bringing "compatibility to laptops". That's good news, I don't know when I'll get their answers about that. The representative understood my documentations and how we can get these cards to display on our eDP laptops. The VBIOS and the DP_D signals are eDP compatible but as mentioned before, the PANEL pins are N/A on their cards. Panel pins are needed to power on the eDP internal screen. Second news, my RTX 4070 MXM from X-VSION has the same signal datasheet as the ZRT ones but the PCB is different. It doesn't display on my laptop despite the DP_D and vbios being "eDP compatible". I'll send my RTX 4070 to @Developer79, hopefully he can understand the PCB and enable the backlight. He has a P870 as an eDP laptop, this laptop has the same MXM connector pinouts as the P570, so that's good. Special thanks to Developer79 again, Developer79 and ZRT are our only hope to get the newest MXM cards to work on our eDP laptops
  5. Hello I already sent you everything in private message. Also ZRT will initiate a meeting for the pin 23, 25 and 27, maybe hope.
  6. But... On the schematics it's says N/A on 3 of the pins. Pin 25, has a missing component and it's for the PNL_BL_EN. I don't even know if the PWM pin is complete or no, I see some missing components next to it. Pin 23 looks normal I guess? If you're saying everything is normal, then why these type of cards like X-VSION, doesn't work with my eDP display? But the Quadro RTX 3000 from HP works...
  7. Damn, this looks hard. I suppose PWR_SRC is where you get the power from the mobo/PSU connector, correct? Did you also see my picture? Do you see what's wrong with pin 23, 25 and 27?
  8. I mean I buy it for 620USD and ship it to you but you have to ship it back to me if you got the the eDP working on P870TM and any other old laptops with eDP as well. I can pay you a little extra to fix these cards. Are you from Europe? It's my only option if the manufacturer doesn't want to enable these 3 pins back or if they aren't willing to make full eDP compatibility for all laptops.
  9. @Developer79 Hello, if the manufacturer doesn't want to add the components. I wanna buy the card and ship it to you so you can test and probably mod it so it can display on your P870TM. If it works, then it'll work on my laptop too. What do you think?
  10. Hello here is a picture. (Updated picture)
  11. Yes the DP_D are fixed. I looked and saw 3 pins on the back of the PCB. I hope these are the PANEL pins. They have electrical lines but they are missing some IC and capacitors... I think the lines are here but not connected I suppose?
  12. By question, you mean they won't make some custom wirings? Yes these pins are on the specs, just that the manufacturer set them to N/A... You can look up for en.zrt-tech online and look at the RTX 4060 MXM card, you can see the pins. I'm not to sure where to look at the physical pins (front or back of the PCB?, back?).
  13. ZRT/X-VSION Ampère doesn't even have eDP signals and the PANEL pins but Clevo Ampère does have them... Which means ZRT/X-VSION Ada cards could potentially enable back the PANEL pins so we can finally use these cards on eDP display (P570, P870). I'm still waiting a reply from ZRT because they once told me, they can do some "custom wiring", I'm not sure, but let's wait.
  14. Yes but my screen is an eDP display, my Quadro P5200 and Quadro RTX 3000 have these pins I guess, otherwise that's why the RTX 4070 MXM doesn't work. I don't see the screen powering on, on my laptop. However with a compatible card, first the screen backight powers on and then the video signal is out. ZRT saw my messages but didn't even reply... Does the RTX 3080 from clevo have these PANEL pins?
  15. Thanks. I asked ZRT if they can enable them. They did use these pins on their GTX 1070M and 1660TiM (even thought they don't have eDP).. Here's where the pins are relied on my eDP conn. PNL_PWR_EN for pin PLVDD PNL_BL_PWM for pin PNL_BKLPWM PNL_BL_EN for pin PANEL_EN
  16. Hello. It's interesting because I'm trying to upgrade a Clevo P570WM laptop that has an eDP screen. This PC can be upgraded max to the Turing generation GPU such as Quadro RTX 3000,4000,5000 from HP because it has eDP on port D on the master MXM. And on the MXM slave connector, I have an RTX 4090 MXM. Now what I'm trying to do, make the X-VSION/ZRT RTX 4060/4070 work on this laptop. I looked at the schematics and saw that my mxm connector and the new cards have the same signals for DP_D, which is eDP signal. It's all good but... There's one problem. While comparing the pins, I saw 3 pins that were related to PANEL. 23 PNL_PWR_EN 25 PNL_BL_EN 27 PNL_BL_PWM These pins are for the backlight of the internal screen, so the eDP screen. I suppose without them, I think the screen won't even power on despite having the right video signal on DP_D? Is that correct? The ZRT/X-VSION 4060/4070 have the pins set to N/A, which means blank pins, no signal at all. Does that mean, we have a working eDP signal but no backlight support? Any idea? For reference, I tested the RTX 4070 from X-VSION on my laptop, it won't display anything on the screen but the computer boots to windows. I can connect to DP and HDMI and it displays on external screen. My MXM connector is literally the same as the P870TM1 connector. Ps: I'm also developing a new 175W MXM heatsink for the "centered offset GPUs" so my 4080 and 4090 won't throttle
  17. Hello, do you have a schematics for your eDP connector? Just to compare with mine. Since you have the same MXM connector pins 23, 25, 27 as me
  18. MXM connector pins (not the eDP conn) the same as P570WM, P870, Zbook G5/G6 17
  19. Hello. I compared the AETINA GTX 1060/1070 schematics and my MXM connector schematics. They both have the PNL_BL_EN PNL_PWR_EN PNL_BL_PWM But on the ZRT/X-VSION cards they have them set to N/A. Why? I'm sure they are needed. I looked at my eDP connector and I see the PANEL signals. (_EN and _PWM signals)
  20. I did look between my mxm connector and the ZRT 4060 signals and I again found something. Are the pins 23, 25 and 27 important? Because on the ZRT RTX 4060 they are all in N/A On my connector it's all PNL_ signals. (Like PNL_BL_EN) Like does PNL_BL_PWM mean Panel Back Light PWN? Because X-VSION and ZRT are lacking it What are these? Modulation clocks? Some news: ZRT told me their Quadro A2000M and RTX 3050M are eDP compatible like the 4050/4060/4070... but on their specs, I see DP 1.4+, not eDP. Kinda strange no?
  21. Yeah but your card has DP. ZRT has eDP, that's different. You might buy the RTX 5000 from HP because it has eDP
  22. ZRT told me these pins are for "IO ports", didn't specify me which ones. And ZRT said they tested eDP on port D with normal DP...
  23. Hello. X-vsion sent me their schematics and the the pins from 170 to 280 are the same as ZRT, they both have the same signals... But the x-vsion eDP doesn't work on both of my laptops.
  24. Why are the LVDS and VGA pins on RSVD or N/A?
  25. The pdf you gave the DP_D is DP. It could work with eDP but you have to mod to bring the brightness. Without mods, eDP doesn't work for the cards in the pdf. The RTX 4050/4060 from ZRT have eDP on port D but my lap doesn't have the 3V3 power for the pin 240 and 242
