  1. No space for one. I already use two GPUs in one system. I can just add one extra heatpipe, I tried to bend one, it's ugly but still manages to conduct the heat (hot water test). I bought 2 more heat pipes because mine modded one can't fit since I did something wrong in the first angle.
  2. Do you see my heatsink? There's a place to add one heat pipe, I need to curve them like the first and second heat pipes. EDIT: Bruh I bought brass heat pipe... (Copper and some zinc)
  3. Yes this one too. He used a rubber toy
  4. I can't send a picture because of the limit but I have a place to add a 3rd heat pipe on the copper plate of the GPU die. I also have some margin to glue the heat pipe on the heatsink. I bought 3 18cm heatpipes because it's an enough length. I bought some thermal glue that works between -60C to 250C. I did see a video on how to bend a heat pipe with bare hands, but don't you guys have something safer and can be done for free?
  5. I still haven't tried the 4070 (115W) on the Clevo P570WM but on my Dell Precision M6700 the temps were so high and the memory temps reached over 115C Do you guys think I should add a 4th heatpipe? I have 3 heat pipes. 2 for GPU and one for top VRAM/VRM
  6. No all the RTX 4000 don't support eDP. 4070,4080 NO EDP!!! I get 255FPS on FurMark at 1080p with 120W limit. Still hits the thermal throttling at the end of the test but not by too much (95-100W)
  7. And why mine has big gaps? If they all touch?
  8. Eurocom told me to use a copper shim lol
  9. I don't understand the video because I can't watch it right now. I don't understand what gap do you mean? Between the GPU die and the copper heatsink?
  10. I can lower to 110W using MSI Afterburner but... It also decreases the thermal limit. From 83C to 75C. Yes it thermal throttles at 75C at 110W... Funny
  11. I don't know. My PTM 7950 is a 20mm thick one instead of the 25mm one. I saw some tests with liquid metal and there are no gains.
  12. For my model, that's kinda stupid to make the slot use up to 200W but only having a 100W heatsink 😕 You sure Liquid metal is better than PTM 7950? Won't it harm the chip? Any protection to add?
  13. Did you read my my post? I did use it. If I didn't use that driver, how am I gonna change power limits? The only thing I can't change is the thermal limit, it's grayed and no values.
  14. Eurocom's played with the words. Now they say 200W is only for the power delivery haha
  15. Do you know a way to counter MSI Afterburner's power limit and thermal limit synchronization? Like when I drop the power limit to 70%, the thermal limits drops by 8C, so no headroom as anticipated... I wanna drop the power limit to 70% and keep the stock thermal limit to 83C (and not 75C)
  16. I got an email from them, they told me 200W... Still, I limit the power but I still get thermal throttling. The heatsink can handle my P5200 110W very well
  17. Bad laptop and it has non standard MXM power delivery. I need someone to help me with the thermal throttling
  18. Hello. Yes I did DDU, I even used a new copy of windows in a new SSD. On other benchmarks I'm hitting 350W easily but on Time Spy standard, I'm not... I hit Vrel, even after using the OC scanner method on Afterburner.
  19. Yes sadly. The only way I can do is AMD + NVIDIA but this won't work due to OpenGL/CL inconsistencies and the AMD wouldn't let the Nvidia to render.
  20. Hello I got an RTX 4080 12GB MXM card. It's kinda useless because it thermal throttles at 83C (91C hotspot) at 150W. Even with some good thermal pads and PTM 7950. Eurocom said the heatsink can support 200W of heat (what a joke). I tried to use MSI afterburner with Nvidia 528.49 drivers, I can limit the power limit but... It also decreases the thermal limit... 81C thermal throttle at 130W (85%) 75C thermal throttle at 110W (70%) I tried to lower the clocks a lot but this didn't help either, I get stutters from thermal throttling in 3dmark benchmarks. Isn't there a way to make the GPU run at 110-115W with a 83C or 85C thermal limit? The VBIOS is also uploaded on techpowerup as X-VSION RTX 4080 12GB. The VBIOS has some weird base clock speed for a 150W card...
  21. Hello. I searched on the net to find a driver that's compatible for both Kepler and Ada GPUs. But I didn't find one. I even tried to .inf mod a 572 version driver but the Kepler gave error 43. My setup is a Quadro K3000M (max supported from the first MXM slot) + RTX 4070 Mobile. Please help me get this to work.
  22. Hello. I undervolted and the VREL warning stopped coming. I'm still getting low performance on TimeSpy. But on steel Nomad, TimeSpy Extreme, Port Royale, I'm getting more than the average... So maybe TimeSpy isn't a good benchmark? Even on my 3090 I get low frames with the regular TimeSpy. So to conclude, my GPU doesn't have any problems. Resolved maybe?
  23. This card doesn't have eDP and LVDS outputs if you're wondering. It can only display thru HDMI/DP or DVI if you have one. Meaning, it's best to have Optimus or a multi-gpu solution (2 MXM slots)
