  1. ahh think i got it, so the lower heatpipe doin pressure to the soundboard n bcs of that it doesnt fit?
  2. did u measured old n new heatsink? where is the prob, at the radiator/fins or the cooler plate itself to high? im machinist n most things easy doable for me when its made from metal 😄
  3. strange n think i only need a new heatsink in the 7720 when i would put an RTX card in bcs temps r really good(P5200 @ 110W max. 59°c. CPU max. 73°c. at 26°c. ambient temp. - used arctic mx-7 for both)
  4. 4x 8GB? maybe the IMC of the 4700 has a better bin then the one from the 4910. do u tried only 2 modules or 4x4GB? possible the IMC from the 4910 has probs with 4x dual-rank(8GB) modules
  5. ok, putted card into my m6800 n doesnt work, but wasnt the fault of the card bcs in my 7720 works flawless... so i think same prob with the GTX 880M, card not broken or currupted bios, think something wrong with the MXM slot, possible broken(but really dont know how, bcs i never force stuff to come out or get in), maybe dirty connects... will clean it with alc next couple days n try again.
  6. P5200 works flawless in the 7720: NVIDIA Quadro P5200 Grafikkarten Benchmark Resultat - Intel Core i7-7820HQ Processor,Dell Inc. 0F2JMF
  7. will try later, putted the P5200 in my 7720 n works flawless, just doin some benchmarks 🙂 no soo bad for totally unoptimized atm: NVIDIA Quadro P5200 Grafikkarten Benchmark Resultat - Intel Core i7-7820HQ Processor,Dell Inc. 0F2JMF
  8. ok, putted the P5200 in n nothing happen, same issues like with the GTX 880M, not even shown in BIOS, full bios reset etc. done but nothing, the card getting power, heatsink was still warm as i opened the m6800 again.... edit: putted the m6100 back in to test, same issue... maybe mainboard broken? O_o
  9. can someone tell me which caps/switches the M17 has? picture below, need it to know bcs want swap the keys fom my M6800 to white ones, n when they have the right caps i will take the white keyboard to use the caps of it 😄
  10. install now, we want results in the next 30 mins 😄
  11. do u tried 2933 furys? they r hard to find, its like ddr3l 2133 😄
  12. this mem set the speed automatically via XMP, n the 7920HQ is the same CPU like mine 7820HQ just higher clocks, so i would suppose: nope, n 2933 will see when i get a kit of it, otherwise will put 2666 C15 in, should end up at +2-5% on the AVR frames n up to 12% at the 1% lows compared to the stock 2400 C17(with really bad subtimings) mem.
  13. just for info: 30 mins ago tried on my 7720 the kingston furyX 3200 C20 2x8GB, main mem slots no post, secundary slots will post but keyboard wont work n freezing at the win boot spinning circle... so 3200 doesnt work with 7720 + 7820HQ, now im looking for 2933(2666 will work anyway bcs is officially in the 7720 specs). when even the 2933 wont work, will go down to the 2666 C15, they r low latency n that will give a boost anyway + 266MHz more to the original 2400 C17.
  14. nope, the M2200 is GM206 n 965M is GM204
  15. finally arrived: palmrest n 2x4GB 2133(2x4GB still on da way) arrived too... maybe will put tomo all together 🙂
  16. i like ur "more helps more" 😄
  17. r u sure is higher? bcs the 4980hq itself is 1.65mm + the PGA package, n a native pga CPU is 4.7mm, when its higher maybe using washers will help? n when i find a 2x8GB kit of 2133 mem, i will give the 4980HQ a try, when it only last a year, its ok, so it will cost around 5 bucks/month, less then every streaming abo 😄
  18. yep i know, but maybe someone want put in one of those cards with the center placed GPU, then need a new heatsink.
  19. i spoke to cicichen, for 100 bucks he will make a RTX(those with the GPU in the middle of the PCB = 3080, 4080, 4090 etc.) compatible heatsink for the 7720, so when someone want one i think will order one, maybe getting cheaper when he will make some more.
  20. how i said, would be LGA 1150 with LP xeon, n more then enough ddr3 sodimm modules with ECC ava, bcs supermicro used them in their mini workstations
  21. maybe on XEON mobile with ECC modules? edit: would be low power ones with LGA 1150 = desktop ones 🫠
  22. take the PCIe 4.0 version, has newer controller n in most cases will be faster at 4k random files(those which r important for performance during daily use) + mostly higher write & copy speed at big files.
  23. think problem is, there is no other m2200 in the bios section from TPU...
