undervolt is support for all gtx 10xx gpuz how is msi afterburner not support it . i did it before with my gtx 1070 at AW M18x R2 .

Download the original Alienware unmodded A03 bios from Dellat Drivers and Downloads | Dell [united States] The file is named "M18R2A03WIN" Extract the contents of M18R2A03WIN to a new folder named "Alienware recovery" anywhere on your useable computer. In there you should have a bunch of files. (9 in total) Look for the one called QBR10EC.fd Rename this file to M18R2.hdr Place the file M18R2.hdr on a formatted fat32 usb stick on its own. Thats it. Blind created Recovery process: To do the recovery process you need to remove your m18x r2 battery. Unplug the back power cord as well Plug the usb stick with the file M18R2.hdr in the M18X's e-sata port Now hold down the END key (located above the numbers key pad) at the same time while your holding the END key plug in the power cord only, you will hear the fans turn on full bolt. Release the end key and wait After a few seconds once the file is read from the USB stick you will hear 20 or 30 beeps (sounds like a garbage truck reversing) After the beeps stop the m18x will shut down and reboot itself. ( 1 or 2 times depending) Once reboot all will be back to normal A03 bios. Connect the battery back if you wish after successful boot.. That's all folks, things should work now unless you bricked the EC controller, which is hard to do.

hello ... you can't use this gpu with p870xx or x170xx motherboards .... the only thing you can do is desoldering the clevo rtx 3080 chipset to rtx 3080ti chipset on clevo rtx 3080 mxm board if you want to use rtx 3080ti chipset with mxm clevo ( p7xxx - p870xx - X170xx ) laptops.

Yes the latest dsanke bios for p870 laptop is 1.07.16 it’s support 9900ks & 128gb ram and there is many of 1.07.16 versions one support 9900ks and another one support 9900ks & 128gb ram and both of them support gtx 10xx and rtx 20xx but if you will use rtx 30xx then you will need a dsanke 1.07.16 modded version if you don’t want to do an inf method to install the rtx 30xx nvidia driver

the prema bios is more easy to use than dsnake bios and with prema bios all of nvidia gpu can seen in bios without driver mod gtx 10xx - rtx 20xx - rtx 30xx all of them can seen inside bios without any issues - with prema bios all of cpus can use without any problems from 6th gen to 9th gen - prema bios has an organized and simple settings menus more than dsnake bios that's all i know about prema and dsnake bios and we can't forget prema bios has one version to flash p870 laptops it's a very nice way but dsnake has many versions for example if you use 6th gen of cpu you need one dsnake bios versions and if you use 7th gen cpu or higher need another dsnake bios ver but prema bios is not. thats all i know 🙂

New score with nvidia driver 528.24 with tdp unlocked to 165w

1- the internal led must change I looked for many led to upgrade my stock clevo 60hz 4k g-sync the only good thing at 4k lcd was a resolution 2160p awesome but with very low response time maybe 16ms so tearing effect is awful. So the best resolution instead of 1080p support rtx 3080 16g is 2k 1440p 165hz and i found a best WLED it’s (NE173QHM-NY7) it’s 40 pin 0.5 pitch - 100% DCI-P3 & 400 nits & 6 (G to G) ms but it’s free sync not g-sync cuz the gsync led i found was 240hz with 300 nits and when you make gsync on = lower fps so always make your gsync off for higher fps so don’t need G-sync and exchange it for more nits . 2- laptop lcd cable must be longer than stock one so must change it cuz the lcd 40 pin socket is a little farther than stock p870 LCDs. 3- my CPU is 8700k in my opinion it’s still good with AAA games and support rtx 3080 with 2k resolution no bottleneck at all and don’t need to change it to 9900k or 9900ks or 10980hk se not gain too much fps maybe 10-15 fps more but not worth money to change my 8700k and i OC 8700K at 4.9 ghz on all cores .. to be at same line with stock 9900k in games. 4- ram is an important item with low CL and high frequency so i choose crucial ballistix kit at 32gb (2x 16 ) it’s 2666 mhz has an 1 xmp to OC to 3200mhz at CL16 i bought it in used condition cuz it’s not for sell in new condition it’s very rare now a days . 5- gpu heatsink with p870 laptops means vapour chamber if you need a very good cooling for your gpu then you need it. I’m using it.. it’s mod by devolper79 he with us in that fourm special thanks 🙏 to him . The thermal with trubo boost cooling ( fn+1) is 60- 61 degrees 😁 it’s amazing without using liquid metal I’m using grizzly kryounut thermal paste and if fans on auto the thermal never hit 72 degrees with very long time 100% gpu usage . 6- rtx 3080 16g is the best gpu you can use with 2024 games . i bought a one from ebay with very good price . And i’m using 330w ac adapter it’s fine with 8700k 4.9 ghz on all cores My Time spy scored 12460 at 1440p native This is a summary of what has been tested on the laptop so far, and it is actually better than the BGA device. Even if it is stronger than it in performance, it is certainly shorter in lifespan and does not accept modification in a way that pleases its owner.
