Ok I can confirm hack..installed avg full suite and vpn while offline and my scores for now are back up..2026 in speedway which is not the best s ore but it's alot better than 1500. Also avg picked up quite a bit of flaws. I guess I'll just have to annoy the hacker by changing my ip around often. Unreal didn't expect this I haven't been hacked in years it's not like the old school hackers doing ransom and just installing annoying scripts. Mr fox bro I know you hate anti-virus but try avg and see if it helps..if not just uninstall

im experiencing the same thing, multiple installs of windows speedway is around 1500 when it should be around 2100-2200 also for some reason HDR says disabled in settings but im getting hdr like effects, all this on a clean install....it wouldn't suprise me if we were hacked. like it's not too crazy of an idea. its like a ton of settings have been modified without my involvement, mainly reg edits.

its varies, its not locked but it goes from 0.9 to 0.850 currently im just undervolting and temps seem in check. undervolting seems to be the solution. side note while running stock clocks my system shut down due to overheating, so i guess ill have to undervolt and lock fps to 60 to avoid overheating until i get the courage to apply LM. funny how when im just benchmarking temps are fine but when i want to play a game its shutting down due to temps.

I'm having issues booting Linux installer..bios ignores the jump drive. Will have to dig a little it artifacted and gave out some error codes I don't think I can install linux on my laptop, maybe because I flashed my vbios and optimus and the igpu are non functional TLDR: i give up I don't really need it for anything unless I will get better performance in games or benchmarking I don't see the point, and im not interested in troubleshooting...bummer

ok I just got a few usb thumb drives. going to install linux just curious if there is anything special(coding) I have to do to get steam to work. actually getting excited to see how this works. should be alot better than chrome os. it says 21 min left for zorin download, and just got rufus. quick question, do you think a 128gb partition is enough for general browsing use and maybe a steam game? how much space does the install take?

so i did the command not much difference between 64gb and 32gb. my 1 percent lows were higher and overall less stutters with 64gb but very sleight. i say 32gb is fine but 64gb might still be worth it if you do music production or 8k video editing, lol 8k i just don't see it. as for the angled adaptors its clear they are a problem, ignore that guy dont let him get to you.

gaming is more popular than benchmarking, I do both and enjoy the super position game, beat it like 30 times

I think overall the memory is better (dual rank/dual channel/better timings) ram can make a difference for sure, always thought it was a slight change. I watched a few youtube videos comparing all the ram configs and going from 8gb to 16gb was big but after that it was very minor, but you guys already know that. owell its all good just happy my laptop was upgraded for free. 2tb and 1tb ssd and now 64gb ram, i should be good for a few years as I only casually game

i already tested 32gb 40gb 8gb and 16gb dual channel helps with micro stuttering and more ram 64gb helps with vram bottlenecks..or not..lol..i just booted the benchmark up and tested it, im not sure why its averaging 12fps more and buttery smooth but I don't really care as this is the best thing that could happen to this laptop aside from a fire pit

yeah I havent tried 32gb...im sure they are similar but 64gb was free, otherwise I would have went for 32gb...just was not expecting this much of a jump going from 16gb to 64gb

interesting find, but I just installed my ram and checked out ghost recon breakpoint at 4k, and before with 40gb and 16gb configs it was a stuttering mess and unplayable, now I just ran the benchmark and my 1 percent lows must be around 50fps and an average of 70fps on ultimate textures and ultra preset. because now its buttery smooth no issues. before due to ram I was getting 2fps now with 64gb of ram its pushing the card and getting 14fps on ultimate settings at 4k. 0 sources on you tube recommend 64gb its always 32gb. well thats because almost no one really games at 4k ultra. if you have 32gb your missing out on performance, also I turned off my page file just so it doesn't spill over to my ssd not like im actually going to use 64gb. so yeah pretty suprised I honestly did not expect anything, maybe 1 or 2fps more but it was a night and day difference in the GRBP benchmark

1.5 hours ill officially have 64gb of ram and no idea what it will be good for. i searched a few places and it looks like only when you edit 8k-16k video is it of benefit. yeah i dont video edit...the only advantage ill have over my current arrangement is dual channel. scores in 3dmark should go up. i might buy a jump drive or two and take the plunge into linux, getting tired of windows

geesh, how do you feel about it>? shouldn't it be 7000plus i would be pissed off. I have a 3500mbps drive that gets like 3580 and does well in all areas its a evo plus 2tb bro thats barely usable, who has a second to wait to load a 5 gb file. man thats a rip off, i'd return it lol honestly i dont notice a difference in daily usage going from my old drives 2000 to my new shiney 3k
